are you using the standard dash switches or something like switch pro?

for now, I’m only planning for a roof rack light bar and a low pro bumper light bar.

Looks like Auxbeam came out with their own sPOD kinda thing. Hell of a price comparatively.

No but I couldn't imagine it would be very hard to use any of the other ones meant for these kind of switches and just drill a hole or two.

i don’t see auxbeam on the power tray site. Perhaps the generic one might work

That might creep people out, same name, same car, same mods. Aliens. Haha

It was a hard choice but I really wanted that old school look with multiple lights.

Nice and that’s a great price!, I like how it comes with all the brackets, but only being able to have a green color backlight kinda sucks…Definitely thinking about picking one of these up… Thanks for sharing!

Looks great! Can’t wait until mine arrives … Question: Did you have the roof wrapped before installing the Gobi?

I think they make a blue and green backlight, with 6 and 8 switch options

Thanks! No I didn't, I cleaned it real good and called it a day. I feel like it wouldn't be impossible to clean under it with the right tool.

Thanks for sharing; Yeah I finally found the Auxbeam listed on Amazon in various colors, etc.

Love, the Old School Multiple Light setup! … I selected the same. Can’t see anymore, but what brand of lights did you go with?

I went with IPF, which is associated with ARB. The IPF 968's are along the same lines as KC's Apollo Pro Halogen. They ran me $300 for all four. I went with a budget route to start off because I didn't want to sink more into lights that honestly I'll probably only use a few times a year. If I decide these aren't cutting it I'll upgrade in the future.

The IPF's however do seem higher quality than the KC, Hella, Piaa options however which is why I went with them.

Question on the Gobi's. How do the front feet mount? Do they just rest in the channel? I'm curious if there's any rattling/bouncing while driving...

You adjust the plates by pressuring them a bit against the roof to get a snug fit, then tighten the nut. Technically if you didn’t have any weight on the front end of the rack it could float w/out the feet

Thx, I was wondering about roof chatter with an unloaded rack. I may end up going from my LFD 3/4 to a full sized rack at some point and am starting to over-research racks.
