Thanks! Getting there slowly but surely. Next up is new tires once I can convince the wife.

I just bought some tire for my 2020. It was easy to convince my wife. I haven’t told her yet and she hasn’t really noticed. . It’s easier to ask for forgiveness than permission. Plus got a hell of deal on 275/70/17 Wildpeakes $808 with rebates and discounts.

Tires are what makes contact with the surface of said terrain. That said I consider them a safety item! Just saying you may have a case...
Also, I am a huge plastidip fan. Congratulations! Was it fun & easy?

I like that it’s a safety item play. We have a Tahoe trip planned here soon so I might make my move then, haha. Yea the plasti dip was super easy. I had never done it before but I just took my time and did enough layers to the point where I thought it was good. Drys super quick also!

That sucks. I did a similar thing. Even looking at mirrors and the rear camera it’s hard to see or judge some obstacles. I guess we have to send the wife outside as a spotter.

it wasn’t that bad at all. Had to get a plastic pry tool to pop off the end caps and then just a 12mm socket wrench for the 8 bolts that hold down the rails. Did four coats on both the rails and the caps. Probably took 3 hours and that includes drying time in between coats.

This stinks... the crashes were terrible...
First snow in Cleveland this year was early and heavy and wet.., with leaves on a lot trees still, we had a lot of damage too. 14"+ of heavy snow on already ice covered branches was terrible.
1st feel for folks injured (or worse in any accidents) and also the associated property damage too. On the good news side.., Nursery's around the country will have a great spring. so we got that going for us.

Stay safe Brother and Sisters in Tx and Ok, looks like a rough couple of days.

Dongar Technologies adaptor for dash cam Garmin 46. Dash cam using auto dimming mirror power for clean look[/QUOTE]

How are you liking the Garmin 46? I just ordered the same Dongar adapter and looking at a few options between the Garmin dash cams 46,56,66 series.

Also were you able to fit the plastic piece back on the windshield with the Dongar adapter after the install or did you have to keep it off?

Blacked out badges, window deflectors, smoked 3rd brake light. I have a Borla muffler on order as well as some color matched engine cover stickers. I'll be painting the stock wheels soon as well. Falken tires in the fall as well.

It seems there were two FJ,s in this nightmare. They look almost totally crushed but the drivers walked away from both. Amazing.

Location is rear hatch with a Diamond K400 mount. Haven't taken SWR because we're currently in a snowstorm here and I can't fit the antenna in my garage.

Garmin dash cam works great. They basically have the same functionality. Only difference is the 56 and 66 version have voice command and are a little more expensive.
The cover went on perfectly. They actually provide a draft on how to install

Installed a 44” extreme led bar on the apex front runner rack. Since installed the front runner I’ve felt something was missing/ off and this completely filled that for me. It may not be for everyone but I’m very pleased with it. Now to get it wired up with the side lights and rears then lighting will be done and move onto prepping for the rear bumper to be here.
