Jumping into the fray. Lived in Boise, Atlanta, currently Phoenix, and wherever else the military took me. I've had my 2000 4Runner since '04. Avid home-brewer, and I know my way around the kitchen/smoker/grill.

Joining mainly because I'm about to overhaul the stock suspension (lift/tires/wheels/rotors/etc.), and want to be able to ask stupid questions (after I've hit the Search button of course).

Looking forward to getting in the way of progress.

Welcome to the site! How long have you been in the Air Force? What suspension do you have planned?

PS. Feel free to contribute to the running beer thread on here!

Oh yeah let's see some pics of the 4Runner

    Hi, Bob! Thanks!

Not currently Active Duty; I should probably fix that in my profile if it infers otherwise. But, I did almost 10 years, 89-98.

I'll check the beer thread out. I'll see about posting some pics of the brew rig in there.

I'll get some pics of the Runner on here when it looks a little less like a 2000 brochure. ;)

    Cheers!

Oops, just saw this question. I've been reviewing this site, and since I'm doing new tires/wheels (and LBJs and TREs and valve cover gaskets and shocks and struts and and and), I'm probably going to go with bigger tires/wheels, and 1" body lift.

We'll see. I'm still searching, reading, and whatnot. Before I pull the trigger, I'm going to post a "stop me before I do something dumb" thread.
