Have any one tried to fix 4Runner Trail Accessory Display on newer 4Runners?
Wonder if there is any video or a good documentation how to wire it and install on newer 4Runners.
Love to see some additional info up there other than just a clock, also it looks good..:)

    That's kinda neat!

That display actually looks useful whereas the clock is hilariously useless at it's literally inches away from another clock. Then again, I guess I already have all of that other info in better places, too, so IMO there should be nothing in that spot lol (or something else, entirely).

I imagine that would be incredibly difficult to retrofit, if not impossible. I suspect that they changed the control unit for the vehicle when they deleted that option and moved those controls and info to other areas.

Or, you might get lucky and it's plug and play! I could see that happening..

Neat idea, but not for $356.

I just wish the clock dimmed with the dimmer switch. On really dark roads, it's too bright at night.

Yes. There was a harness for sale by a member on the other site, but he was "canceled".

The biggest hurdle I see is the two additional buttons. But maybe they simply deleted the wiring and pins for those functions, but kept the same overall harness and receptacle. If they also kept the same programming in the module, you could be good to go!

Yeah I saw that forum. Wish I can buy that harness from Toyota as well (So it would be easy to return if its not working than from a person). Also I wasn't sure how to wire that. Could not find any video or tutorial.

I may have the pdf... someplace, but you can DM the creator. I know the pdf was being shared by other users as well. Not sure if it would work with the extra nanny tech on a 20+ model, but works great in the 2018 TuRD.

The best part is trying to get all of these clocks, which you can clearly see at the same time, synced up!! LOL

I do like that fuel range thing there the most. I could keep the mpg on main dashboard.

I do have a cheap angle meter on my windshield.
