Will document progress but here is the deal ...

    Day 1.

Purchased fox 2.5 front and rears for my 2021 4runner. I pray to God these work on the 21 model year cause their compatability chart has not been updated since 2019

    https://www.ridefox.com/product.php?m=truck&t=shocks&partnumber=883-02-111&make=Toyota&model=4Runner+&year=2018&position=Front

    And

    https://www.ridefox.com/product.php?m=truck&t=shocks&partnumber=883-24-004&make=Toyota&model=4Runner+&year=2018&position=Rear

If any of you have this setup, would love to hear from you.

    Day 2.

Well, as it turns out. The store that sold them to me now said they are on backorder. So, I ended up with King 2.5 OEM Performance series confirmed in stock and shipping tomorrow. No adjusters but will get adjusters in rear.

Also, keep in mind to go in and get them serviced/rebuilt every 30k-50k miles. Important thing to remember for coilovers.

I noticed that there were no rear springs included with the 1st set.
Are getting some with the King set or sticking with the OEM rear springs?

Well I know its the holiday season but the company i bought these from has not shipped them yet. They gave me a tracking number but they have been sitting ready to go since Monday. They said ups hasn't picked up. They should have taken them to a drop off. Especially after 3 or 4 days. Poor customer service. I could have had these next Monday but now I am delayed and won't be able to install before holidays are over.

We're waiting on a bunch of stuff. Some of which we were hoping to give to friends on Christmas.
    Oh well...

FedEx and UPS delivery are about as reliable as the weather man. Don’t ever count on the package showing up when it’s suppose to. But you can count on the box your stuff is shipped in to be destroyed.

Not worried about the carrier. Its the shipper lack of action which bothers me. After the first failed pickup they should have dropped it off themselves. But they didn't.

Nonetheless I can't wait to get the kings installed.

Ok. Just got around to installing these yesterday.

Got a 2 inch lift out of it. Hoping it settles a little after a while.

You’ll definitely settle. I just put my kings on Thursday. 6 turns on the coil overs and after settling I have 2” of lift on the drivers side and 2.5” on the passenger side.

The coilover springs up front and stocks springs in rear. Just changed the rear shocks.

BTW. As it stands. Day 1 with 2.25 lift up front. Hoping it settles to 1.75

Curious, did you go with the 550 lb springs on the front coils?

whatever the standard spring rate is on the coilover. I did not upgrade or go heavier.

Cool, looks like that's indeed the 550. Nice choice! Would love these.. argh haha.. new home first!

If you don't mind.. I would love to see your alingment results. I'm also looking at a 2" front lift and am wanting to keep the OE UCA's. You're still on 265s?

    Thanks.

Yes get a place to park it first :)

So far the ride is very nice. Sits nice and high very stout looking, feels capable. I think it sites better than my old JK with 33's on it and I only have stock size tires. Heading to the coast (Oregon) this weekend and will see if I can give it a run on the beach.

    Thanks a bunch for that!
Those alignment figures would be sufficient for me I think, so that's some very positive feedback for my OE UCA 2" lift. I can't see 1* of caster making that much of a difference.

To annoy you once more.. lol.. what were your before and after measurements in the front? I see you're saying 2.25" lift currently. I'm curious as I finally got around to measuring my 4Runner last night, and I am at 19 7/8" Driver and 20" Passenger.

Enjoy your weekend adventure.. I hope you get to put them to the test!

I measured from the ground to the bottom of the fender. Prior to doing the lift with 3/4 tank full, drivers side was 33 .75 " As of this morning it's 36 exactly. I think it will settle especially since King support said it should do 1.75 lift out of the box.
