My snowplow somehow finds every sprinkler head possible. Even with driveway markers we take out sod & sprinklers every year...
Stupid installers must get to the very fucking edge & not recess them....
Sorry (it is what I do),

I take mine in the dirt as often as I can. Unfortunately, with the pandemic, I haven't gone out nearly as much as I want to. I'm hoping 2021 will be a better year and I'll be able to go out more with my friends.

I got out a few weeks ago with my local 4R group. We went to a place called Empire Ranch near Sonoita, AZ. About an hour East of Tucson. Pin-striping is part of the fun down here in the desert! All buffed out pretty easily anyway, with a little elbow grease and some Adams Swirl and Scratch remover.Empire 1.jpg Empire 3.jpg Empire 4.jpg Empire 5.jpg

Besides driving it home from the dealership, to get rock sliders installed, to having it ceramic Coated, and taking it was to a local watering hole once to show it off, I only drive it on road to go off road.

What's that little patch of wet sand next to the 4Runner? Stopped to relieve yourself? :D

Just want to say that this thread right here is the most therapeutic part of the internet for me. Love the scenery and look forward to explore as well - every chance I get.
In the clutter of madness that we all currently live in - this place truly helps keep sanity.

I drove on snow once.... ;) I'll get out this summer when it's seen a few more miles and the 'new car' feeling wears off.

Noticed you're running some Black Rhino Ridge wheels. How do you like em? I'm guessing you got the 0 offset?

Literally just had a set delivered today. Was hoping for a little more tire poke.

I got mine stuck on a concrete slab on a beach parking lot outside of a pier restaurant. I'm pretty hard-core into offroading.

I have driven over a concrete stall barrier before due to no stall lines. That was in our Infiniti.
The 4Runner would laugh! I took a speed bump @ 30mph today & enjoyed it. Not in my F-250...

We live 3+ miles off-road and having the 4R makes it awesome! The road is mostly an unimproved logging road, so it's rough to be sure.

Loved every bit of it! Still have to get a lift(it’s been out of stock for 3 months) new tires, and a bunch of other stuff but that won’t stop me from taking it off roading.

ps: yes that is a spare! I got a flat 5 miles into the 70 miles off road trip! Haha

These comments are all great to read!
For me, I've taken my 4Runner to the mountains but most of the snow covered roads were either paved or gravel. I had planned to put it to use in Montana on some of the trails around there.. But this damn Covid19 thing has put a damper on my trips..

I agree. Lol. My 2020 Pro has been in the garage for 2 weeks. I use my beater car for work and we have not had any bad weather so it’s sleeping. Why because I can. Lol.

When I bought my new 2020 sr5 premium 4Runner with 4wd. I took it off-road with less than 24 hours of driving it off the lot and had Arizona pin striping. Popped it into 4wd and within 1000 miles I had to replace the stock tires because well I destroyed them off-roading trying to go up a hill that just wasn’t going to happen with the stock tires.

If I wanted a street suv I would have bought an Sequoia with 4wd when I hit unexpected snow up north. I have 3800 miles and it has seen off-road several times.

8,000 miles in and have already had to replace 2 tires. The stock tires are junk. One was punctured driving through a river bed by a rock, had to change the tire on a narrow rode on the side of a cliff, which is when I discovered the factory jack is also junk.

Normally I like to burn through my new set of tires before upgrading to bigger tires or rims. probably not an option with this vehicle.
