Hey all, I recently got my hands on a beautiful 2nd gen, unfortunately the 3.slow blew the head gasket. so i was looking to swap in the 3.4, i was reading that my truck would need a body lift but i’m not sure if mine has one, any tips to help this swap go smoothly would be awesome!

Welcome. I couldnt even imagine seeing a vehicle that age look that nice in these parts. I don't know much about that engine other than the head gasket issue, and under powered. However, I'd just fix that and enjoy it as is if it were mine!

As far as not sure if there is a body lift, just look and see if it's more than 1/2 inch gap or so between the frame and body. if so there most likely is.
