Second day now I have this totally random double-beep in the dash area, beep-beep, very short. No lights on the dashboard whatsoever. No matter the speed, turning or driving straight, the beep comes on totally random. I am kinda stumped. I already opened all doors and windows and closed them up. Car starts and drives 100% normal.
Google is not really coming up with anything I can relate to.

Are you sure the hatch glass is up all the way?

yeap, I opened up all windows and closed them up one by one to make sure they go up. The app shows all doors and windows closed and locked as well. Hood and moonroof closed as well.

Shot in the dark, but is an outside temperature notification? I had a work truck that it did it and it took me forever to figure out that's what it was.

I also am thinking rear hatch. Make sure it's all the way closed. If it's latched only to the first soft stop it can move backwards on acceleration and trigger the audible warning. That would briefly show a yellow warning icon though. Other than that, I got nothing.

the rear hatch is 100% closed properly. it might be the temperature thing! Didnt think of that, it went between 0-1-2C on my way home tonight.

Hopefully that's it. It drove me nuts until I put two and two together. My BMW goes off at 34 and my Ford goes off at 37 if I remember correctly.

I was totally guessing. I have no idea if the newer 4runners do or not. Just suggesting something to look into.

OK, issue solved. I didn't really drive at all these days, it turns out it was the dashcam, the SD card went bad.
    I'll show myself out now.
