I have a 2013 limited Toyota 4Runner. I am wanting to lift it and put some bigger tires on. Since it is a limited it has the xreas suspension which I want to keep. About the only option I could find to do this was the 2 inch xreas spacer lift by rough country. Are there any other option and could I run a 285/17r17 tire

Not sure about 2013 Limited, I had to remove xreas on my 2019 Limited for 1.5 rear + 2.5 front lift since the shocks are too short for a lift.

I just installed the 2" front 1" rear cornfed spacers on my 2016 Limited with Xreas. 285/70R17 are to follow shortly.

What wheels are you running with these tires? I suspect backspace and offset may have more to do with tire fit than a spacer lift, although that may help some. You can probably fit these without lift if you have the right wheels and you are willing to trim some plastic, etc. Is there any reason you want to keep the XREAS and add spacers? These may reduce the effectiveness of the XREAS, and with a '13 maybe it's a good time to get new suspension anyway?

    *suspect you mean 285/70/17

I mainly wanna keep the x reas to save money. And possibly ditch it later. I can was quoted 600 for the spacer lift and almost 3000 for a whole new suspension. I am gonna just figure out what width and offset of the wheels I need to run 285/70r17. Thanks for your help.

This is what I just did. And man it rides way better. Getting 17 next year. Have the stock 20s for now.

Not opposed to doing something like that if it wasn’t for the cost. I feel comfortable doing a spacer lift, but would probably have to have professionals install something like that.

It'$ a very nice $etup, what I'd like when my XREAS need replacing. Looks like some lift is dialed in because of the UCAs but I can't tell by looking.

Removing the XREAS system isn't very difficult, it's all the damn fluid that you have to watch out for. I was able to remove the XREAS system in less than hour and another 5 hours to install the Ironman4x4 stage 3 kit. I decided to mount 265/70/17 on the off road wheels, but it looks like a 275 will fit without too much rubbing

Mind if I can have a closer look at your front tire and fender liner please. I too got TRD ORP wheels to get 17" tires and debating 285 vs 275. TIA..

    Tires are 265/70/17 Falken Rubitreks
I have not modified any of the plastics and have the auto side steps.
Second photo is with the wheel fully turned to the left and third photo is with the wheel fully turned to the right. Even with the rock-block splash guards on I think a 275/70 should fit.

Just mounted 285/70r17 KO2’s. Pushed the fender liner forward and trimmed the inside of the husky mud flaps and now no rubbing 29A93078-6F21-4577-9F8D-7EDF5F26C924.jpg

If was right around 4 hours using a lift. I am by no means an expert so could probably be done a lot faster by someone more experienced than myself.

Did you have any issues with the Ironman UCA fitment with the stock ORP wheels on 265? Overall thoughts on the stage 3 ironman istallation/setup? I'm thinking on getting it.
