Hi Everyone I am new here. Looking to potentially trade in my 2019 Jeep Rubicon Unlimited for 2021 TRD PRO.

Has anyone on east coast got them at discounts? Or can anyone point me to a dealer easy to work with. I am located in NYC, but willing to travel. Got my Rubicon in PA, so traveling is not an issue. Thanks again.

You’re not gonna get discounts homie. Better working more for your trade

I'm in Northern NJ and no one is giving discounts on the TRD Pro. They mark them up at some of the dealers here. You might be better off trying to find a dealer in PA that has one in stock and get it for sticker.

I have seen people get discounts on them down in Florida. MSRP is fine. I just want to try for even $500-$1000 off.

Good luck. Not sure how far you are from FL but in my opinion that is not enough of a discount to travel up and down the east coast. $500-$1000 equates to a few dollars a month on a finance.

    Monochrome everything. LED reverse lights.
No discounts but there’s lots of dealers marking them up. Don’t pay more than msrp. You should be able to find them that way.

Please pay more than MSRP. All the more added value for me ;)

Why do you want a PRO, specifically?

Depending on your intended use, you may be better off starting with a lower trim. Besides, you won't find a discount on a PRO anywhere, especially right now.

Seems like a reasonable question to me. :notsure:

Edited my other post for clarity.

I can finally appreciate this shorthand, 6 months after I decided I wanted one and hope it get delivered before Christmas. It lands on our shores on the 30th.

Odds are I will not upgrade much on 4runner. Will leave it stock, wanna keep one for 2 years. The resale value on pro's is higher than other trims. When 2022 comes out can be easy trade without losing much on one.

That makes sense. The PRO is the best equipped in stock form. I just was curious because it's not the best build platform. :)

Shop around and find the place that will give you highest dollar on your Jeep. I traded in a 20 JLUR and got only $2000 less than I paid and owned it a year. Other dealerships were $4000 less. So I got the Pro! They won’t come off the Pro price but they can move numbers around so that it looks like you’re getting more for your Jeep. They want to sell units. It’s worth a try. Your Jeep is in high demand if it’s in good shape.

Same here, except 2017 JK and upstate NY. Satisfied with MSRP after several dealers down south led me down the process only to add $4-6K to the price (along with a bunch of extras I didn't need) at the last minute. I am down south a lot so looked as far as down as South Carolina for dealers with one in stock. After the games, I decided to order locally and wait it out to get just the Pro I wanted without options I don't.

I might get run outta here for suggesting this but Tacoma Pros are easier to come by, a little cheaper, and hold their value just as good or better. I bought a 19 Tacoma pro and sold it a year later for the exact same price I paid for it.
Why did I sell it? B/c I hated that crappy downgraded engine after driving a 2nd gen Tacoma for 10 years.

I would but share the car with wife in single car household. She wants the suv, if it was just my car I would get the tacoma no doubt about that.

Welcome from Wisconsin! You're probably not going to find much of a discount on a Pro, but look around, maybe you'll find a dealer wanting to unload one from a deal gone bad.
