The views were incredible. I need to go back when there isn't a ton of smoke from the California fires. It was just a giant majestic crow lol

Time to hit the ICONIC White Rim Trail. This trail is full of epic views and well worth the effort to get permits.

Looks epic, I usually try to do the White Rim every year but haven't been able to this year.

How many days you taking? We usually do the trail in two long days, might have to try it in three one of these times.

White Rim we did 3 days 2 nights. We asked around and most people suggested taking at least 2, preferably 3. We were off the trail by 11 or so on the 3rd day. The availability of campsites also guided how many days were were staying. It was nice though, gave us plenty of time to take pictures and enjoy the views.

yeah you can do the whole thing in one really long day but then you don't get to enjoy it as much. Not a difficult road but the views are hard to beat.

The views were incredible. I think I did 80+% of it in 2WD. The two hill climbs did require me to go into 4WD. Other than that, nice and relaxing. Just enjoying all the views.

Day 3 of White Rim was fairly short. I believe we were back in Canyonlands around 11-11:30, which worked out great for this. It was extremely busy in Moab, the fact we got back early made it possible to get a campsite.

Great adventure. Amazing photos. That is what it's all about. Makes me wish I was able to go with you guys. Awesome stuff!

Definitely getting some LED lights for my next 4Runner. Too many times in the forest and desert I've been wishing I could light up the road a lot more. How adequate do you find those two small ones on your hood near the windshield?

I have LED high beams, so I have the ditch lights aimed to the corners of the High Beam cut off. They light up pretty well.

THE last trail run of the trip, which happened to the be the hardest trail run. We decided to tackle Top of the World to get that iconic picture at the top. This trail was super super tough to run though.

I have pics of taking my stock 1994 4Runner up top of the world in 2006. I hear it's deteriorated quite a bit since then, I haven't been up it since.

It was definitely a rough go. We banged up the skids and sliders pretty good. We knocked the rear bumper out of alignment enough on the Taco to ruin his blindspot monitoring.

It’s trips like this that make me want to get a 4Runner as a retirement present! Been all around there looking from the pavement, on the bike.

Definitely! You can do White Rim and Rimrocker with a stock 4Runner. Beautiful sights to see out there!
