I recently picked up this 2001 4Runner Sr5 with a whiny trans for 2K. I have a transmission on its way now from Vegas, 1K shipped with 80,000 miles I doubt it....lol. I live in Sandy Utah. So when it arrives, it will be drained and flushed with a new filter. Then it will get installed. I plan to do the work myself. Should only take me a day or two to get it done.

It needs some love but I have always liked this style. So far I have pulled the carpet out and pressure washed it, added new carpet padding from home depot for sound barrier. I might add another layer. Needs all new door seals and some other interior tid bits. I also plan to locate some nicer seats for it that are in better shape than mine.

Has camburg upper control arms, bilstein mix shock setup. Getting all new shocks and 3" lift or fix up what I have which is still a mystery. I will have a better idea when I get under and start the tear down.
P/O built bumper and it will be getting swapped for an ARB or Smitty built. Haven't decided yet. Staying with wheels and tires. AZ truck so zero rust.

Suspension input is appreciated. It's plan is mostly daily driving though I do use my off roads here in Utah as well. So I am looking for a good all round kit.
