IMG_20190312_015334.jpg IMG_20190313_021027.jpgI ordered a pair of used and rough silver valances. Some truck bed liner and plastic epoxy fixed them up. I removed the bumper covers, cut out the stencil marks and they popped right on. Really happy with the results. Oh, I also added a new logo deleted grill cross member.

Rust-Oleum Pro. I liked the finer texture.....and it was the only one I could find more than one bottle of locally.

that looks great! How hard a job was it? I'd love to at least add the rear one to mine.

Not too incredibly bad. The hardest part was plunging a Dremel through a perfectly good bumper cover. The cuts don't need to be perfect though. It is very forgiving.

Did you have to use anything to clamp the valances from the back?

Thanks. Used off eBay. Anything looks new when covered in bed liner.

Looks great! I was wondering where you found the stencil to drill out holes for the valances and where you purchased the blacked out grill piece?

Could the silver ones be painted on the vehicle? Can I just clean and degrease them before painting or do they need to be skuffed up?

I won't bolt another one on the top of what I have. I will just clean and paint in place after taping off the area. I just wondered if cleaning with degreaser, soap and water will be enough for the new black primer and paint in a can to adhere and give lasting results?

I think the plastic dip is easiest and safest method.

Is anyone making a plain black garnish that doesn't get rid of the round Toyota symbol. I see them where they're just blacked out not the TRD pro version but there's no cut out for the Toyota emblem. It'd be nice to be able to Black out the center garnish but keep the Toyota emblem
