I still have my sliding try installed, but have not plan on selling. I’m still unsure if I like the tray or would rather have the few inches of depth to fit my Wife's Great Dane in the back.

I will say I kind of wish I had gotten the sliding deck for car camping since there is a two inch height difference between the cargo area and where the 2nd row seats fold down to. I'll either have to get a hold of a sliding cargo deck or make a sleeping platform for the back.

I’m looking for one down in Naples, FL.
Really want to level the deck. Slide out is kind of cool & I can see how it would help.
I need storage too. My 04 just died so I got this 2019. Now I’m realizing the lack of closed storage for ball hitch & jumper cables etc.
I’d be glad to swap carpet. Not sure what the plan is for someone pulling a slider out.

Other than sleeping in your 4R with this tray making it level; what advantages do you guys find that it provides if I may ask? Wondering if I should add this to my order?
I typically leave fishing stuff in the back all year so just wondering how apt stuff is to fall out. How far out does that come beyond the bumper?

In my case, I wouldn't have to bring a POS folding card table when we go shooting. There are usually three of us tripping over each other working out of the back of the truck, hence the POS table. Never wanted/needed one, but it might work in my case. Just a thought.

I've slept in the back a few times and having a level base is fantastic. I'm 6 ft. so I can't stretch out all the way without removing one of the rear seat bases if I have my 6 year old and my dog. When I know we are going to be camping and I don't want to bother with the tent, I'll remove the rear seat base for the 60 split and use a piece of scrap 1/2" plywood to span the gap for my big ass head. Once I've got my sleeping pad, blankets, and sleeping bag in place, I don't notice the plywood.

I am also planning to build a sleep shelf within the next month that will continue to utilize the tray as an option. This is in preparation for a long trip out west this summer. The design will be similar to this except it won't be as high from the floor. I may even use different lengths of support legs to proved different options for the height. This option allows me to use a rear cargo area shelf at all times that easily converts to bed for sleeping in the back. This is of course a temporary solution until I build a teardrop.
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HdvCvUzbAsg

I have found the tray to be useful in normal everyday situations, especially when we go shopping (grocery, hardware, COSTCO, etc.). My biggest gripe with the tray, however, is the tray liner provided by Toyota. It constantly moves around and won't stay in place. I'm probably going to screw it to the tray to 'lock' it in place, though.
