Starting a thread to have a place that I can update with new mods that are done to share my experience with them and help others.
I didn’t even make it a month without touching it, but hey I’m at least helping out the economy:hattip:

    2018 4Runner SR5
    Suspension:
    Front - Bilstein 5100 w/ 3” HS Coils, SPC UCA’s
Rear: Fox 2.0 Shocks, Icon 2” Coils
    Tires: 295/70/17
Wheels: 17x9 -38mm offset SCS Ray 10 in Bronze
Lighting: DDM HID Headlights, Baja Squadron Lights

To do mods will be redoing the plasti dip on the lower valence and installing a TRD Pro style grill.
Got some Rago rear side window molle panels coming in as well.

Happy to help/give feedback if anybody needs it.

Thank you! And I was on the fence about it but now that I have them I think they do look great as well, setting it apart from all the other white 4runners out there!

Thought I’d do a little update!

I got my “high clearance” bumper cut done and added some of the “fang” decals to the front. Also installed the TRD pro style grill.
Next up is waiting for a sale for a hybrid bumper or lo pro bumper for the front end.

After fangs (bumper cut as well)

I originally didn’t know if I should cut up at an angle the whole way, but I think it will look 100% better with a higher angle cut towards the fender flare so I’ll be tackling that this weekend!

Finally got around to installing the molle panels in the rear. Makes a world difference for carrying your gear and freeing up trunk space.

Installed the Subaru tweeters, common mod on Tacoma’s and the plugs fit in the 4runner too. Did this mod on my previous tacoma and it really does make a difference in how crispy the sound is and definitely adds a noticeable improvement over stock. Only issue was that I could not get the bolts off the OEM tweeter mount. I circled where the mounting point is and you can also see where the OEM mount would go when they’re side by side. I bent a mount from trying so hard to take off the bolt so I decided to just use one bolt and it works just fine. Install was super simple, took about 5 minutes for the whole thing.

Thanks for sending me here! I'm not sure how to respond on my original thread but just glancing through this thread at work has already helped!

Installed the Diode Dynamic SS3 Pro Fogs today. I previously had the Baja Designs Squadron Sport Wide Cornering “fogs” on, and they’re amazing and really provide great lighting but the issue was I couldn’t run them on the road. They have no cutoff and are a flood style light. I have to dial in the adjustment for the SS3’s but here’s a quick glimpse of how clean of a cutoff the SS3’s have compared to the Baja’s. It is bright in my garage too and you can still see the Baja light going up past the right headlight. The SS3 Pros seem to be as bright as the Baja’s, but with a cutoff so they can be used at night.

Bottom picture shows the Baja light on the right and the SS3 on the left.

Here’s an edited version to show the lighting more. You can see the light spill on the right go up the wall and some on the ceiling as well.

What about using a zip tie to try and help support the other side of that tweeter, or making a mount out of an old cutting board (or similar material)?

Found a super cheap front set of 2.5 King coilovers, couldn’t pass up on the sweet deal! Previous owner had them for under 5k miles, and decided to go long travel so he got rid of these.
