I sure would Like to have my exhaust pipe come out the side like on a taco so wouldn’t get all that soot on the back. Seems like a a cut and a good bent pipe Ought to do it.

A guy on another forum just did this to his Pro exhaust. he didn't like the rumble so bought a stock muffler and had the TRD tip welded to the side exhaust

An expensive option, but they do have full kits out there to achieve this look. https://www.ebay.com/ulk/itm/401914358221

Just go to an exhaust shop and have them modify the pipe behind the muffler to achieve what you want.

Local muffler shop cut and welded on the side pipe for $65. I really like the look and the novelty along with No Soot etc on the back door. l tried driving with the back window down and could really tell a difference I didn’t smell any exhaust back. Really happy about this mod

Funny, I just finally put the rear window down coming home from work the other day and immediately noted the exhaust smell. Good to know on the mod!

I tried driving with the rear window down just once. Never mind the smell (which is an issue, no doubt), but the amount of dust sucked onto the truck interior pretty well eliminated any future driving with the window down.

Rear window is one reason I bought a runner. All summer long the sunroof open, all windows down... Like a convertible with sedan security!
Guys bury the rigs in mud and some are worried about dust inside:anonymous:

THis is how pro exhausts come stock on 2020. There will be soot buildup on the side though. No escaping it.

Who cares? This never shows everything anyway.
I only have the rear window open when I have at least the driver's side window open, too. I never noticed any smell. I bet having another window open helps the air flow out the back.

I'm 60 and have been driving 4x4's since age 16. Possibly while you were still suckling on Mommy. With the exception of a 77' Cherokee Chief which I bought used, every new 4x4 I've ever purchased literally went from the showroom floor into mud and 4-wheeling. Every...single....one. I've had my share of being chased out of self-car-washes, and I've had my fun.

Drive with all your windows down, have at it. My tours of duty are done

To each their own, I happen to prefer all the windows down. On highway side windows up for noise control either way it reminds me of convertibles that I also like.

I have a Nightshade with the exhaust coming out the back...has the cladding so that is how it is designed. Had a 2016 Limited prior with the same setup. I have never noticed any exhaust smell.

I’ve never noticed an exhaust smell and I have my rear window down all the time. I usually have the sun roof open a crack too.
