No sir, I measured beforehand in the exact spot marked with tape and afterwards after driving maybe 10 miles. Never heard of a puck not raising what it's rated for.
Also the spring is seated the same way

    Interesting.

Is this only happening in the rear?

Are your driver and passenger sides even up front?

Finally getting my lift installed today along with JBA UCA’s. Wheels and tires tomorrow, will report back on details. Looking forward to getting rid of the notorious 4Runner nose dive, first world problems..

If you got the 2.75" Eibach lift coils, then you'll want the snap ring on the lowest setting (0") to get 2.75" of lift. If you were to put the snap ring on the next setting up with those coils, you'll be at 3.6" in front.

If you're using your stock coils, then use any setting you want to get your desired lift height.

Done exactly that, set at lowest setting. Looks and rides very nice, very taught handling would be my description and no more Nose Dive! That annoyed the heck out of me.
    Installing wheels and tires tomorrow.

Thank you. Going with KO2’s 285/70/17 C and I picked up a set of Black Rhino Rumble wheels in Gun Black. If my calculations are right I’m giving up about 4lbs per corner, any other tires I would have given up about 8-10 lbs.
I had a Chevy 1500 HD and always ran KO’s so I went with what was tried and tested, although those Nitto Ridge Grapplers were tempting and about $20 bucks less per tire but weight won out. FYI your input on the Eibach shocks were one of the reasons why I went with them and you can’t beat the price for the quality of the components.

Quick comparison of my 4R with the Eibach lift and another 4R w/o. Love the lift and look of my 4Runner!

The front was same level right to left when i brought it to the shop. Morons decided they should match the lean that only the back had:homer:
I asked them to fix it and they said they pulled the struts 6 times they were done losing money on it. maybe if I put a phone book under my left butt cheek it will be all leveled;)
I'm about to the point of ripping everything out but waiting to see if others have issues with stage 2....no ones fessed up yet on either forum.
I would adjust them myself but cant find a spring compressor that will fit in the small coils. I really dont wanna pull the strut....chicken chit here:wave:

That’s who installed the lift for me, took 1 hour and 10 minutes to install the kit and UCA’s.
If anyone is looking to get a lift installed and lives in Southern California, I highly recommend 88 Rotors. They have it down packed. They also do BMC’s and sell pretty much sell all the top brands of Wheels and Tires.

Thanks man! Glad you're happy with them.

BFG's are tried and true. Can't go wrong with those.

Post some pics when it's all buttoned up.

That's weird. It makes me wonder if one of the front coilovers is pulling one side of your truck down, exacerbating the lean and not allowing the rear spacer to provide the lift it should.

I don't know the shop, but it kind of sounds like they haven't worked with a lot of coilovers before.

If you're into it, try counting the number of threads exposed from where they start towards the bottom of the shock up to the bottom of the coil perch. If they are drastically different on each side, that might be your issue. If you don't feel like bothering with it, no big deal. Just trying to provide some avenues to problem solve.

Had to laugh, and I know it's an optical illusion, but the taller 4R looks 'slimmer' side-to-side...I guess it's the along the lines of "don't these skinny jeans make me look thinner?" :p

The ride is a little stiffer, feels more truck like. Definitely got rid of most of the Nose Dive unless you break hard. My 4Runner has KDSS and stock you still felt a little of the swaying that 4runners are known for, well that’s pretty much gone with the new suspension. Next week I’ll be going up to the local mountains to see how it does, nothing too crazy tho. I’ll report back.

did some measurements to see how much "Driver Lean" i had if any. From the naked eye, i really couldn't tell a whole lot. The rear was a little more obvious, because on the passenger side, i could see the red Eibach logo much more.
All in all, the passenger side is half an inch higher. Not sure if its worth fixing or not. :notsure:
Over all, the truck is pretty damn level with the 2.75 front, and 1 inch rear.
I do think I'm going to add some small wheel spacers though. i really like the TRD Pro rims, but wish they stuck out a little bit more. My previous Tacoma had SCS wheels and they had such an aggressive stance.

They have the process down packed, every shop that I called for the install said it would take from 3 hours to one day. 88 Rotors had it done including UCA’s in 1 hour and 10 minutes including the JBA UCA’s, Pretty impressive.

Got a shipping update yesterday and my lift is finally in transit. As much as I love the leveled look, I also got half inch cornfed spacers for the rear to avoid the reverse rake whenever I load the back. Hopefully I can avoid the "lean" if not they'll come in handy for that. Already have the cornfed spacers in hand but I'm also waiting on spidertrax spacers to arrive as well. Couldn't be more stoked. My only regret since I had no plans for a suspension upgrade and this was spur of the moment was purchasing my General Grabber ATX in 265 last month. Have a feeling I'm gonna get the itch to go up to 275 or 285 in which case I'll definitely upgrade to JBA or SPC UCA's. For now, I'll wait to see how the 265's look after installing the suspension and spidertrax.

Yeah, i am wondering how the rear springs will hold up when i pull my dirt bike. I have the small carrier that goes on the hitch and the dirt bike sits right behind the trunk. Hopefully it doesn't get that "South Carolina lean" haha

You will for sure get the itch. I know for a fact that 265's don't look bad. Especially when they are an aggressive looking tire like the ATX, but its bound to happen. Run them for a year, and put em up for sale when you upgrade to 285s. Should be able to pay for at least half of your 285s.

Pinstripes, lots of em. Plus a couple dents.
If you're going to regularly carry your dirt bike, you might want to invest in some Firestone Airbags for the rear springs.
I towed a fishing boat home from Minnesota to Missouri last summer resulting in my nose in the air and rear drooping.

For a couple miles to the lake and back the airbags aren't needed. Any long distance driving - a day or 2, you'll want them.
