just received my "Shipping label printed" tracking update haha. Should hopefully ship out today.

Now to throw on some 285s. I need opinions.
I have a deal for used KO2s, for roughly $500. They have about 10-15k miles it would seem. $500 for 5 total. I truly don't need a 5th tire though. Seller wont let 4 go.

Or, I can get a Brand new set of Falken Wildpeak for just under $700.

What do you guys think? Lose the Extra tire for a brand new set of Falken, or save the $200 for a used pair of KO2?

I went with the set of 5 KO2's from a buddy's jeep Rubi with <200 miles on them. The 285 spare will still fit in the stock spare location. I figure might as well have the same tire size IF I ever need the spare...

ive had Ko2s on my Tacoma and thought they were great in the snow, and all around were a good tire. they for sure suffered from a balance issue, but from what I can remember I didn't mind too much.

I didn't think the 285 would fit under there. What rim do you have?

They fit just fine on mine. I have stock OR rims, 7.5" wide, 17" dia. Used the stock spare rim for the spare tire and fits snugly under there.

Was this prelift install? Just got my lift installed and now I’m the debate of what size tire I want to get

Yeah, this is pre-lift. The stock tire size still looks good even after the lift imo (so long as you have an aftermarket all-terrain/mud-terrain). I do plan to potentially move up to 275/70 once these tires wear out but not 100% sure on that yet.

Which tire do you have in mind? I’m also interested in moving up to 275, but options are so limited... with KO2s poor wet traction after 10k... Wildpeaks weight and potential balance issues... Not considering Generals... Cooper AT3s?

So I have had Wildpeaks on my previous tacoma and now my 4runner. Love the tires and I can acknowledge that I did have balance issues in the beginning which caused some steering wheel shake on the road. However, once I went back to have them rebalance, no issues going forward.

The price of the tire is such a good deal that I have a hard time passing it up (especially when Amazon is willing to ship it for free to Hawaii).

So if I do move up tot 275, I will likely buy the Wildpeaks again (but I can understand the hesitation if others have had a very hard time with balancing).

Alright, install done. WOW this lift. Eibach is doing it right. Great price, solid build, smooth ride, and just the right amount of lift. I was worried that it wouldn't be a noticeable lift, looks wise. I was wrong.
My 285s rub a bit up front. Shop said only way to get that fixed alignment wise would require upgraded UPC's. I think some minor fender chopping can fix that for free.

Called Eibach on Monday to check on my order since it said it was in stock at the time and was given a backorder date of July 10. No worries, Ill keep my order in case there's a chance it becomes available and shipped sooner. Got an email update today saying there's no eta for the Stage 1 kit and they have to cancel and refund. Feels bad man :(

When did you place your order, and was it direct from Eibach that you placed it?

Called them after 3 days and asked when it would ship.. they said sorry they never had any to ship was computer error. I'm about ready to cancel and go another route

I'm sure they're waiting on suppliers for supplies, who in turn don't know when their suppliers will supply them with supplies and so on and so forth. Tough times to be a business, let alone trying to keep deadlines and customers happy. I would cut them (and most every other business) a little slack on timetables for getting products to market.

you might have better luck going through a 3rd party to order them. I ordered mine the 2nd of June through a 3rd party. I'm sure they would have more pull with Eibach since they are ordering much more from them.

Who’d you go with for your kit?

seeing a few ‘in-stock’ on Amazon and currently debating going that route until I can make a few calls tomorrow when vendors are back open

i got mine from Mike's Custom Toys. Not sure if they are on here, but i went through Tacoma World. A few people are able to place orders with Wheelers and Headstrong it seems. Headstrong just mentioned on TW that recent orders still had a date of 06/26 or something around there, which means they were not canceled.

So the adjustable rears are on backorder and my runner has 3/4" lean from side to side. Had an ome spacer that says corrects the lean by 1/2"
It gave me 1/8". Just don't understand because the puck is 1/2" thick???
Oh, the eibach springs gave 1.5" lift and after 500 miles, zero settling
