Got a Thule T2 Classic from REI and took the wife and kid on a 5 mile flat trail ride! It was awesome!

Added a Hike It throttle controller. I had one on my Jeep and loved it. Paired with this engine I like it even more on the 4R. Never used Pedal Commander or Sprint Booster. What I liked about the Hike It is the price. $199 without any sale. I got in on a great sale, but it took 4 weeks to get here. At one point, I thought I ordered from Gobi racks, but it was worth the wait at the price i paid.

I kinda ghetto rigged it, but it looks decent and functions well. At some point I might clean it up a little, but’s fine as it is for now. Im running it on Auto mode. The higher performance modes are pretty responsive. I also like being able to hit one button and it switches to "over take" mode and leaps to life like when passing on the highway.

Wow, I've cleaned my engine compartment, but mine hasn't been that clean since before its 1st off road trip. I carry two air filters, one engine, one cabin. I spend a lot of time in the dirt, need to exercise the gears.

Trans fluid dump and fill. Need to do a couple more and should be good for another 45K miles.

Still have less than 5k on my runner, so I haven't changed the oil yet, but can you explain what "cartridge filter removal tool" and "metal filter housing" you're referring to? Is this just a standard adjustable oil filter removal tool or something special? And what's the deal with the plastic filter bowl??

I have a feeling you're about to save me some future time and frustration, so thank you!!

No days they just put screens in there as a "strainer." I might do that at 90K, but for now just doing three drain and fills which should get me close to ~80% or more fresh fluid in there.

Fog light LEDs. Btw if you have a SR5 or SR5 Premium, you really don't have to remove any bolts or wheel liners. Just reach up there and change em. Watched a few videos and most showed wheel liner disassembly. Maybe that's specific to TRD, limited or Trail versions.

On passenger side removing two lowest liner bolts in front of wheel well does give more access though.

Does this controller act like the Rav4's Eco/Normal/Sport modes? I feel like the 4Runner is stuck in Eco mode.

    IMG_20200523_210742.jpg

In my first post about this yesterday, I mentioned the sticker looked a little cheap, and that it is 3D printed. Today was 98° here and the sticker fell off haha! Functionally, I would say the eBay one is still okay. That being said, I just got on the MESO notification list to replace it haha

    Did your 2019 4R come with a driver-side A-arm handle????? I have a 2018 ORP and no handle.
I missed out on the MESO fuse cover. It's to the back of the line for me.

I received the MESO email notification, but was late to order. MESO Customs website doesn't show fuse cover as 4R Parts anymore. I had emailed asking if it's been discontinued, but no reply.

It's the same email I received the "Buy It Now" button is greyed out. I had tried on different PC and smart phone also e-mailed MESO asking if I had missed out on buy. I had not received a reply. Noticed MESO website also doesn't show fuse cover under 4R parts.
Still waiting for MESO 4R Flip-Key.

    Currently stock; MODS coming soon.
I ordered two and got them over the weekend. The plastic material is much better on the Tacoma version than the 4R. It arrived curved, not smooth and not straight like it should be. I sent them back because the box didn’t contain fuse stickers and was expecting them to more like the Tacoma.
