I am wanting to put larger tires on my completely stock 2003 sr5 4runner. I already have the tires, they are 285/70/r17.

I want these tires to fit for as cheap as possible. I think i should get a 3" leveling kit, so 2.5in lift spacers in the front and 1.5in coil spacers on the back. Would this give me enough clearance so that i don't have any rubbing, or could i do minimal trimming to erase any rubbing?

the tires came off a 04' expedition. So i need to buy wheel adapters to go from the Toyo's, 6x5.5 to the expeditions 6x135, at 1.5inches.

So i want to know wiht the 1.5in wheel adapter and the 3" net leveling kit. Will i avoid all or most wheel rubbing?

I also want to find these parts for as cheap as possible. Please link websites that sel; the aformention parts for cheap

you will have quite a bit of rubbing to be honest. i have 265/70/r17 on more than three inches of suspension lift, front and rear, and i rub in multiple places. cheapest spacer lifts will be on eBay, i bought one for $149.99, and you can get the adapters for the wheels on eBay as well, probably fairly cheap. however with the cheapest setup, youre going to get the results you pay for

Well then my next question is what sort of lift do i need? What is the best option with this tire size (285/70/r17)? I have the tires for free and they would look amazing on the 4runner. I want to stay away from buying full suspension lift kit, because i just bought the car and don't have too much money to spare. What is my best option?

You could buy just the front Bilstein 5100's then set them to level it out. Then later on get the rear 5100's and lift coils and some lift spindles for the front then you'll be set.

5100's with ome springs front and rear and a body lift would clear them easily for less than $700

I've got a leveling kit for sale if you really want to get it done "cheap", but they aren't all that great. It's advertised as 2.5" but on old sagged out coils it never sat that tall. When I switched to icons it felt like I was 20 feet off the ground compared to the spacers.

Considering most only keep their spacers on for a few months, its not all that bad.
