Nice. I’ll be buying tires soon, add these to the list to keep in mind.

I will be interested to see how these compare to the AT2's. I am planning on going with the Cooper Discoverer At3 4s, but will be definitely keeping an eye on these over the next year.

I may go ahead and try a set on my wife's new 4runner as we are wanting to ditch the Dunlop's for something better suited for these rocky Ozark Mt backroads.

My local store didn't show them in their system yet when I called yesterday, but they were just released Sunday. He was intrigued and said he would call around to see when they would be available and to call back sometime next week. I called Discount Tire about 60 miles away and again not showing up so he was going to call around and call me back, said he found a set in my size in Dallas and would take 5 business days to receive them. I'm still probably a couple of weeks out from purchasing but my wife really likes the looks of the tire and was considering the AT2. I think these will be the tires we get so I will keep you informed.

I've been considering AT2s for some time, and like the AT3 better. Now it's a toss-up between those & Falken Wildpeaks. Hopefully our local Discount Tire will have these in p-metric 265/70-17.

my current 4Runner had well used Toyo AT2's on it when I bought it and I didn't like the look of them at all. These look much better, will put on the list to investigate when my Cooper AT3's wear out.

Pinstripes, lots of em. Plus a couple dents.
I wonder how much they weigh? No details on Toyo's website.

At the bottom of the page there is an option to "Print Sizes & Specs" which gives weights. Looks like the stock size is 41#.

In the market for new tires for my 95 Tacoma. Got it narrowed down to these two.
    This:IMG_3473.jpg
Or this:IMG_3474.jpgKinda leaning towards the Yokohama because it's a 31/10.5/15 and the Toyo doesn't offer that size. :pout:

    Glad I could help!

I put these on my 4runner on Friday, the 17th. So far, I'm extremely happy with them.

Noise is minimal. I believe they are quieter than my KO2's were, and those weren't bad at all.

The sidewalls are a little less aggressive looking than the K02's, but still looks great!

They feel smooth and grippy. I haven't been through anything nasty, yet, but I expect them to perform well on the trails.

Those look great! I've got Toyo AT II on there currently and kinda wanted to stick with Toyo.

Based on my experience so far, I wouldn't hesitate to buy them again. I can't wait to get some more miles on them.:)

I'm not a fan of toyos but I did have the geolanders on my third gen. Prolly one the best if not the best tire I've ever ran.

I had 2 sets of Yokohamas on my previous 4runner. The Geolander HTS were fantastic in rain and lasted forever. Then I went with the ATS, and they were ridiculously good in snow. If they looked a little more aggressive, I might have put them on the 4runner.

Edit: those X-AT's look really good, though!

I almost went with that size, but it sounded like more cutting than I was ready for. I have the 285/70/17's in C load range and I'm really liking them so far. Post pics after the installation!

Will definitely post pics. I test fit a buddy’s 285/75 Wildpeaks and with my 3” lift and BMC, clearance is fine. My 295/70’s are 33.4 diameter and the new AT III’s are only 33.9 so it’s really not that much larger. I drove from South Florida to Texas and back last week and the mud terrains were killing me on the highway. I have a lot of driving coming up including a trip to Arizona to Neighborhood/house hunt and then back to Florida and I’m not doing that trip on MT’s.

Nice! I think you'll be very happy with them.

I'm thinking of getting a second set of wheels and putting M/T's on them next year, just for off roading trips and shenanigans. I have the BMC done, so maybe I'll go up a size on them.

    Are you re-geared?
