Bubbling paint sale (lower NY) many items...

Unfortunately I am getting rid of my 4Runner due to bubbling paint and rusty body panels. So I have many USED but in very good condition items up for sale. I am willing to ship any of the items at the buyer’s expense. If anyone is interested I will do a package deal and throw in the oil filter and possibly OEM windshield wiper blade inserts depending on what is bought. **THEY WILL NOT FIT THE COMPLETE WIPER THAT THE DEALERSHIP SELLS** I am located about 30 minutes north of NYC.

Yes very sad day because I had the truck dialed in to exactly how I wanted it and it was paid off. Mechanically it’s rock solid.... But realistically it was time to do a tactical retreat... Toyota Corporate and especially the dealership was going to fix it all with zero out of pocket. The work would have involved removing the front windshield and rear bumper. I also brought the truck to an independent paint specialist that who is a friend and he felt that the paint or undercoat is defective in certain areas. The door sills were already painted so basically I decided it wasn’t worth holding onto because the potential for more rust issues are high.

The dealership was awesome in regards to a trade in. The mileage and year depreciation cost me the same as if I leased a Corolla for 3years/36k with 0 down payment. And I had a huge down payment for the new truck.

I am pissed because no matter how you slice it I LOST financially and have frigin’ payments again but life is to short to really care.

I am buying a Tundra because I need the room for my ATVs and I am starting a few projects in my house. The 4Runner was high on the short list but it didn’t make sense again because I have a Corolla and my wife drives a Highlander. And as much as I enjoyed the 4Runner I preferred a pickup simply due to my hobbies and activities. And it was only a 1500 dollar difference between a Trail and the TRD Offroad Tundra due to factory incentives.
