Not sure on split packages but can vouch for eibach rear springs. Had those on my 19 and without the front done yet made a huge difference in handling, no more body roll etc
They will be going on my 20 when it's time!

No. You'd have to piece them together.

Which Dobinsons coil(s) are you looking at? Front, rear, both? Lift height?

I'm in a similar boat in that I would like to get a small lift coil for my fronts. The smallest front lift coil I've seen with Dobinsons is 1.75", but that's at stock weight. Of course they would probably ride a bit lower with some extra weight, but no telling how much. I'd be a bit uneasy only being able to find out what your lift height is after you put everything on.

Another option I've been looking at is the Toytech 1.6" lift coil. It's a 620lb coil, so it will handle a bit of extra weight and it's made by Eibach (I like their products). I'm a little concerned about stiffening the ride with my stock weight, but I'm considering them since they are currently the best option I know of. They might be an option for you too. They are at least worth a look as well.

Looks like tire rack has a 10% sale going on right now for this kit! Shipping to HI sucks so not jumping on this quite yet.

If you know what height you want, you could just add a cornfed spacer to the back spring. They have 1/2”, 3/4” etc. I’m not advocating this, but I’ve considered it myself. I’m debating within myself all these options to get a mild, level lift. I’m not after cheap, I’m after excellent. So far, it’s Elka, when they open back up.

I hope Elka opens soon, cause I want to order a set of their shocks for my Yamaha Grizzly 700.

The only size spacer I have ever run was the 1/4 lean spacers that provide a 1/2 inch of lift. The spacers were installed on both sides to lessen the additional rake caused by my air suspension. In all honesty I thought the spacers were great...no noise, no change in ride quality/characteristics, and were cheaper than replacing all brand new shocks. At 5 PSI my 2nd gen Taco sat about a 3/4 inch higher than stock and my 4Runner at the same PSI sits at about 1/2 higher. My Taco did not squat as much under load as the 4Runner. That’s why I decided on the .85 setting because with my ATV and trailer attached it’s fairly level (rear is still higher...no bro lean).

I spoke with an Elka engineer the other day who was working from home in his kitchen, answering the phone. I asked him if they had inventory to sell once they opened back up and he said, no, for the truck line they make everything custom.

What kind of air suspension did you use? Did you install it yourself, and has it stood up ok?

Did you add the 1/4" spacers after you installed the air suspension, and in addition to the Eibach struts/shocks?

No, when I replaced the factory shocks with the Eibach I had the mechanic pull the spacers out. My lift is purely based on Eibach shocks.

This isn't for me, personally. Just passing on some info to people interested in the idea of an adjustable rear. Cool idea if you tow or you are unsure about committing to a particular lift height.

For me, the rear end of the 4runner is high enough. I fit 285's with no rubbing and no clearance issues......so I have no reason to go higher.

So Amazon had this with prime shipping so I’m jumping on it! Everyone else wanted 150+ for shipping to HI. Thanks to everyone on here with their insight. Prob won’t have it done until everything settles down but looking forward to it!

I've got Elka's on my Tundra ,non-res ones, and they're great. Trying to decide which I should go with Eibach Pro kit with OME rear spring or spend the extra and go with Elka's.

Nice to hear, 2chains! They seem really well built, well designed, and I can specify KDSS. When I mod my vehicle I like to improve it.

I finally got time to get alignment done...
Caster was set at 3.4 on each side
seems to have fixed it 95%, it has a slight rub when at full turn, but I can deal.
They acted like they just couldn't get over that mark, it was tight, they jerked the wrenches around trying to get the bolts to move.
I had to stay inside the vehicle while they did the alignment...
But I did open the sunroof and stood up and watched the numbers as they adjusted ;)

I usually don't let anyone wrench on my personal vehicles unless I'm standing there beside them.

    Thanks for the input.

Good to hear it helped some! Are you still rubbing at the mudflap or are you rubbing the front fender liner now?

Yeah, they probably couldn't move the caster any higher if you're at 2.5" of lift with stock UCAs. 3.4 degrees of caster actually sounds really good with those specs.

I'll have to check while my wife is in the driver seat to know for sure where the slight rub is now.

Oh, no big deal as I called to verify, this strut has a revised shock for improved handling, but the picture is not the same as the marketed pics.. they said the marketed pic may have been the Tacoma or something

I guessed a few months ago they were going to be around $1,000.

Do you mind sharing how much you paid?

The fronts were $825, no tax and free shipping. Based on Eibachs history of nice stuff that's a decent price....I think

    Yeah, I'd say so!

I think the Fox 2.0's are priced around $1,000.

I'd be willing to bet the valving on these is tuned better.

When do you think you'll put them on?
