Yeah, now that you mention it, it looks a lot like the Pelican Point / Crystal Cove area in the pictures!

White 4runners are photogenic. They always look clean.

If where I purchased mine had a white one for the same price I’d of jumped on it, they gave me a great deal on my Silver and I’m very happy with it. All my previous vehicles have been dark and I just didn’t want to deal with having to wash or clean once a week.

Yeah, the lighter colors are so much easier to keep clean.

I actually like all the colors the 4Runner comes in.

Well, except for Voodoo Blue. :ohsnap:

Subjective statement... though what likely is not debatable is that white is probably the most purchased color. In large part, the reason I went w a different color

In my part of town I see a lot of the MGM & Black, not too many White or the other colors.

Great picture!! I'm not any kind of photographer or artist but the composition and transitiion into the curve of the road and the mountains is really nice,to my eye.

Great pics looks like the wildflowers are starting to bloom, don’t they know we are in a Crisis! Lol
Is there a name to that trail, assume it can be done with stock tires?

    Thanks! The wildflowers were gorgeous!

Yes, it's the old coast road. If it's dry, you'll have no problem with stock tires. I was in 2wd the entire time.

There are some some rocky sections that could make someone with a P-rated tire a little uneasy, but I have P-rated A/T's and had no issues.

    It was.

I'm not sure under what circumstances they close it.

There is private property on both sides of the road for a good stretch, but I believe the road itself is public. I could be wrong.

There are some homes you pass along the way, so I imagine it remains open for all the homeowners.

This was way too many years ago but, I was driving from the inland side and came across a washed out section in my Land Cruiser. I made it through that and was within a mile of the coast, when I met up with a road crew to install new culvert pipe. A guy in a Monterey County P/U told me that a gate was locked and gave me the combo to the lock. I locked it behind me and went on my way.

It’s Rig’d Ultraswing. Great carrier!! Hitch mounted and designed for a 5th gen. Not a generic Wilco which I had before.
