Anybody get condensation inside the tail lights? Dealer said it's normal even thought my last runner never had it

We have the Carista also. It will work as a scan tool I believe. One of the options is check for faults. I am sure it is just a basic check. Never had a fault yet. I should pull a fuse & see what it will tell me. The carista is @ my shop or I would go throw it in...
    Anyone use this function yet?

Installed SPC UCAs,replaced my Elka 700lb springs(14")with 650lb springs(13"),trimmed rocker panels to make them look nicer with sliders and applied anti-seize on lower control arm cam bolts to reduce the chance of future seizures.

Not that I have noticed. It snowed last night & I will be washing it tomorrow. I will let you know what I find.
How would that be normal if it takes an oven to separate the housing? Liarship...

I also installed the Borla Touring catback, its too quiet for my taste but not for the wifes, so i guess its ok. It does feel "lighter" the truck, is not a racer car but it feels better than stock.

Also mine is a SR5 2016 and as you can see in the pics the tip is not touching the bumper, which was a concern for many of us.

So far im happy with it

Not normal there’s a seal that’s broken on the light someplace if it’s still under warranty take it in and get it replaced, my 2018 doesn’t do that and I wash it in garage in cold weather and everything and never had an issue, I also use my blower to dry it and that does help.. but definitely not normal for those to get moisture in them..

I agree, It is not normal, however, as for a "sealed" unit, I am not sure. The Blinker is removable so if that seal is cracked etc. water could definitely get in there. I would think as a temp/quick fix you could use a hair dryer on low and blow air into the housing to clear the moisture, try to be somewhere that doesn't have a lot of dust because you will never get it out once it is in. I agree, if it is under warranty, take it in! If not, dry it out and maybe just a little grease on the O-ring around the blinker might help.

Man to be honest, I cannot tell a huge difference lol. I have a 2017 tacoma trd pro with the fox suspension that I drive everyday, so I have only put a handful of miles on this new set up. I'd say if anything, it just feels a little more stable and less nose dive while braking. I am already thinking of the RCC2.0 rear springs and a toytec front perch spacer lol. I was hoping it wouldve been like one inch taller than it is now. I like the bilsteins a lot so far though!

Toyota has one, as does locker down. Amazon is your friend... Or the devil.

Rebuilt an old fobus holster to hold 90% of my pistols and hard mounted it.

Bilstein 5100's installed all around. Fronts set at 1.75'' and added one inch Cornfed rear spacer. The ride has improved as others have mentioned and The look is perfect. Highly recommended.lift 2.jpg

Working on a little project. Should be done in a couple weeks. Stripped all chrome with bleach, cleaned, dried, painted black. Ordered clear lenses to replace the amber lenses for the side markers.

200* for 25 minutes and they came off pretty easily. Retrorubber will be used to reseal them.

Nope, leaving the original projector in place. I’m happy with the lights using H9 bulbs. Just wanted all the chrome to be gone.

Great feature! Now if Mercedes was reliable, easy to work on, and cost of ownership wasn't so high, they would be great vehicles!

Sorry, I didn't get to wash the 4runner till today.
No condensation anywhere & I use my pressure washer and then hand wash & rinse. I would call their BS & go see another dealership!
Maybe check the bulb gasket or whatever you call the housing that holds the bulb in. Socket & gasket maybe...

Well, This is my girlfriends new SUV and she love's it so far I tried to steer her in many other directions but I stayed clear of the of the conflict. The SUV itself is nice with a ton of "TECH" we got them to cover the maintenance for the term of the 3 yr lease.
