Beside 4Runners and the outdoors I have another love, Knifes!

I have always loved them and the work that goes into them. Most of us know that a knife will only hold an edge for so long and after so much use. I have always had a thing for sharp knifes! I felt most knifes just suck with the edge they come with and that is why I have looked at about everything on the market to get past that issue.

A special someone over heard my ranting about the best sharpener I have ever seen in action. Well low and behold I ended up with one this year for Christmas.

If anyone is interested I would like some more practice. As you can tell by my stack of confetti after testing the edges, they come out VERY SHARP!

If anyone is interested just let me know. You pay shipping and I will do the rest and send it home to you. I really want to get good before I start charging. I just want to give my T4R people first dibs.

Check out the parent company Realsharp if you want. I have had the pleasure of meeting the man that started it all for this company and he is so down to earth and humble and just a cool man.

It was a gift so I'm not sure. I have priced it before and it was over 400 but I'm not sure what she paid for it because it was the holidays. It was really worth the investment. I'm going to start doing it on the side to make a few bucks at some point.

I've got a pair of DCs that could use a real edge again. Where do I send 'em?

My Kershaw Shallot and Cryo could use some love...

Although that Cryo dulled out within the first week of owning it so I don't have much faith in it. I don't really own any overly nice knives either.

Shoot me a PM and I'll get you the address. I'll make that Kershaw real sharp. They have pretty good steel on most of there knifes. The Cryo I'll just have to see but I'm not worried at all. I have turned cheap knifes into a nice cutting tool again.

They both came out great man. I cleaned up the blade on the buck were it was damaged also. The Benchmade is silly sharp and I only took a little but of steel off off it also. All and all I'm really happy with them. Enjoy the knifes again. I'm willing to bet you the buck was never this sharp. Also pm me your address again.

Anybody ever try to slice a bubblewrap envelope? The tear is what my decently sharp Gerber did opening the package. The slices are from the knives Blue sharpened. Very nice, sir.

    Easy,

The thing with Gerber as a whole is the metal is a bit soft. They will take an edge well but keeping it is the trick. The last one I did came out really nice. Send it on down, I'll give it some love and send it back to you. PM me for details and an address.

In the end it's all about the steel bud. Once you understand that and shop for a knife that way. Then you got it. I picked up a nice Buck with S30V. It great and takes a very nice edge. Knife was 80 dollars. Other brands with that steel can run over 200 or 300 like my zero tolerance made by Ken Onion
