That's why jeepers always do it. The panhard bar moves in an arc just like the rest of the control arms so when its going through it's arc it moves the axle side to side

What about an adjustable pan hard bar? I don't know shit about any of this stuff, looking to learn. I helped a friend swap out a Rough Country lift on his Jeep to a Fox kit, and saw all the quick disconnects and what not he added. So I have no idea what the bracket you installed does (I get it corrects the bar location but not sure how) or if an adjustable bar can accomplish the same thing. Looking to learn from those who know so I can get mine setup one time and one time only.

I always ran an adjustable one on all my old f-bodies and SN95's.

check out the link I posted. The bracket flattens the panhard bar angle and increases roll center which are both good things. Adjustable panhard bars are imo less durable options but don’t solve the roll center issue.

On cars, adjustable are fine. On flexy stuff, I would think about it. I broke 3 adjustable panhard bars on a 700whp F-Body I had. Ended up ultimately going with a custom built solid bar.

true...you can fine tune an adjustable bar a bit more than an adjustable bracket though.

guess I need to research the T4R rear setup's a bit more since I'm getting ready to buy a 4th gen and will eventually go down the rabbit hole.

My fox body was a built outlaw 10.5 class car so I had a solid bar also that was made after we set ride height and all.

The better question is, how many rear ends did you go through...fucking F-Body's

I grenaded the stock rear end in my last WS6 the same day I bought it. Was too poor at the time to upgrade to a 9" or even a 12 bolt.

Never blew a rear end. I bought my 98 SS while on deployment and had it delivered to HKS in San Diego. Had a twin screw whipple put in after the engine was bored .30 and stroked. Ran a 20 shot of NOS in it too. Tranny and rear end were both rebuilt to account for the HP with 3.55 gearing and cryo treated gear sets for the trans. The only thing I didn’t do to the car was was upgrade the brakes which ultimately led to its demise as she burned to the ground on I-40 between Knoxville and Asheville at 3am on a cold January night in 2006 from a brake fire.

Looks like a very nice product and thank you for the link. But I don't think I need it because my pan hard bar is level as it sits in the driveway.

What made you decide on 4.56? I don’t know much about the gear ratios so I’m curious

Something's missing I don't see any lockers. I am about to get some gears and lockers myself. I assume you went ECGS, looks good man.

He's on 33s and doesn't want the engine to be screaming going down the hwy at 70 mph.

4.88’s would be great for 37’s but too low for 33’s and 35’s. Yes I said 35’s, because they will happen.

ECGS all the way. E-locker rear. I’m not a fan of front lockers. They make things break and I’ve never needed a front locker. Had one in my 09 Taco and never used it. Took 8 hours to get the front done. Passenger side CV was being a dick.

I wouldn't be worried about using a front locker unless you just bind shit up and break it. I've seen several guys on obstacles that even with just a rear locker couldn't get up definitely needed the front locker. But you are right if used wrong timing or when steering locked can definitely break some shit.

R&R wasn’t bad at all. CV axles were a pain in the dick but nothing that couldn’t be handles with an extra pair of hands, some cerveza, and a few choice 4 letter words.

Initial drive feels great. Have to tweak the driver side CV. Don’t think I have it seated all the way.

True, I’m just not a fan of IFS with a locker. If I ever SAS, a locker will be put in.

All done with the install. Break in time. 85w140 gear oil is thick as fuck. The bottle pump I ordered did not have a suitable diameter tube and required a shit ton of effort to pump the oil. Will be looking for a better pump when it comes time to replace the break in oil.

Just waiting for the word from SOS that my hybrid front bumper is ready.
