    I love this look on your 4Runner!! This is what I've been wanting to do if I ever hit a deer or get some kinda front end damage....rebuild with a Taco front end!! Then you went all out with the "Baja Race Truck" paint job...Frik'in Awesome!!

    So, what happen to this 4Runner...or did I understand you correctly?? This is the same 4Runner you have now?? If so....Wow...what a huge change?? Why?? IMHO...I like the old look.



    Well....I guess I should officially introduce my little girl that I've named Sgt Yoda!! I too started out with a complete blank canvas 3 years ago (then she was Pvt. Yoda...LOL!!!!) she was bone stock. Now, I'm well on my way...but still have a long ways to go...I'm still build on her. Heck, here's something for yall to think about...Sgt Yoda is 16 years old and she's still a virgin!! That's right, she's a dirt virgin!! I know....sad...but true!! The original owner bought her for his wife...which in the 13 years, she never once took her off road or made a single modification. He stated the only time she was ever slipped into 4wheel drive was for snow/ice...going to/from work. So you know what that means......I can't wait to pop her dirty cherry!! Oooooh yeah!!!!!! Hahahaha :mudding::oldglory:


    Day one. Here she is...Pvt Yoda..13 years old and bone stock w/ 152,000 miles.

    March 2015...she been promoted: Sgt Yoda!! She's made some good progress...but still a long way to go. The best part...I'm having fun every step of the way!! Now if I could just remember where I planted that money tree...lol!! I did just order a ShrockWorks rear bumper w/ tire swing. I got in on their GB. So it'll be 2-3 months wait...but I save almost $300!! I can wait...no worries!

    It's a ShrockWorks bumper. They make really quality pieces...their instructions where very clear and easy to follow...all the mounting hardware came with it (no BS trips to hardware store looking for bolts/washers). And their powder coating is second to none!! Mark is a great guy to deal with!!

    Good to know I will look them up. I haven't decided yet on what I want for bumpers and accessories. Mine is mostly a daily driver and going to be for mtn biking, snowboarding, and some much needed off highway use.

    If you're going to go with ShrockWorks...watch the Group Buy's on T4R and TW...or here. Normally they'll put together 2-4 GB's a year. Most of ShrockWorks GB's will save you around 15%...which is always nice!

    Awww...that sucks!! Please don't get me wrong...you still have a bad a** 4Runner!! I just really dug that race inspired paint!! And you still have the best front end!! That is....until I can find a deer to hit me...lol!!! Then I'll be a copy-cat...if that's ok?!?! IMHO...that's how our 4Runners should have left the factory!!
