I’ve been extremely busy the past couple of months dealing with taking on a new career and managing my business, as well as going through lots of treatment for the back issues I’ve been dealing with since August. I’ve also been squeezing in deer hunting as much as possible. I haven’t had much time to breath let alone get on here. but I wanted to drop by and tell all of you fine folks Happy Thanksgiving and to enjoy your upcoming holidays.

Shotgun? You can’t use a High Power rifle? I’ld rather use a Muzzleloader!!!

yes, we can use HPR for deer hunting. I’ve used this same Rem 870 12ga mag for over 20 years now, it’s what I like. It’ll put the hammer on a buck in a heartbeat. Next weekend I’ll be hunting our other property so the 270 will come out.

E343DCC6-E2C5-460F-9F1D-11DD6350A03E.jpg I tagged this old goat, the day before Thanksgiving, in the rain. He stepped out to the field after 6 doe and a spike entered and left..

Ya it must be tough dealing with people’s problems. Your gonna have more authority than a police officer....

Nice buck. I often hunt in a light rain. Deer will bed when it’s heavy and as soon as it lightens up or stops, they’ll move hard. Good time to be in the woods.

Thanks, it took me all season to connect. The spot I’m at now has real potential. I checked on renting a bush hog to go over the fields. The rocks have already been removed and it’s ready for crops....

Ya it will be a change for sure. I honestly like helping people and have dealt with my own problems so hopefully I can have a bit of empathy when dealing with people. Just have to remember youre not seeing people at their best.
