    Need help please. I am to the point I need new tires on my 2018 off road premium 4Runner. Not sure if I want to put a lift on or level kit? Maybe bigger tires? I am in the construction business so I am in the fields but no major climbing. I drive about 30k miles a year.

    I am amazed you drive 30k a year. I would go with some Michelin defenders if I were you.

    I second the Michelin Defenders because they are easily a 90k tire with well kept suspension and rotations. The biggest problem you are going to face is that you are going to be replacing AT tires every one to two years. And based on my experiences I found AT tires perform piss poorly towards the end of their life on the road (BfGoodrichs, Nittos, Goodyears). The Michelins will give you a much more consist performance throughout the lifetime of the tire but they just aren’t cool looking. And they definitely won’t look good with a lift. I saw OP you go to a lot of construction sites so maybe you could add a winch for those "just in case" moments. Or lift and do all that stuff to your truck and buy a Beater car for all the traveling.

    For sure you are going to want to get the round black rubber ones.

    I went with BFG KO2 All Terrains. I am very happy with them. They are smooth and quiet. I have not taken them off road yet. Also, I only put about 5,000 miles a year on my Runner. Maybe less.

    Thanks for the suggestions. I am in sales and unfortunately it does require me to drive at least 120 plus miles a day round trips. I do like the looks of the ko2. Again thanks for the help.

    In the warmer months, not sure how much snow you get, I prefer my 20” GT Radials.....

    The Falkens are very popular right now, and reasonably priced. They seem to be great all around tires, and better daily drivers than some of the more aggressive AT's.

    The Michelin defenders would probably be an excellent choice as well.

    I have KO2's and love them. I hear about issues with wet traction, but I've had no problems. I've put about 22K on them since February and the tread looks almost like new.

    So far I am really liking my Falkens. They were the best deal on an AT I could find. I have only had them a couple days so I am looking forward to seeing how they do off-road and in the rain/snow.

    I ran the KO2's on my 3rd Gen 4Runner and liked them as well. I never had any issues in the rain/snow with them. The performed really well off-road as well.

    Yep, Michelin Defenders would be a good choice. The most quiet tire I’ve ever run on a truck. Almost silent. And when you hit 40k miles they barely even look used. 70-90k miles is likely.

    And as mentioned, they perform like new until the end, whereas many others gradually lose performance over the life of the tire.

    Unmatched traction in wet/slippery conditions aside from moving to a dedicated winter tire. Tons of sipes. And in our stock size, it’s a pretty beefy tire to be honest. Nice big black sidewalls.

    Ive run a lot of sets of tires in my day and the Defenders (formerly the MS2) are the best of the bunch. Light off-road is no problem at all (the only real immediate concern would be a sidewall puncture). But if you’re not rock crawling or driving over trees, no worries, really.

    Blacked out badges, window deflectors, smoked 3rd brake light. I have a Borla muffler on order as well as some color matched engine cover stickers. I'll be painting the stock wheels soon as well. Falken tires in the fall as well.
    I had them on my '05 Grand Cherokee and loved them. That said, I've read so much good things about the Falken Wildpeaks that I'll probably go with them when time comes.

    I'm going with 275. As far as I know even without a spacer they might fit with no mods or at the most the front liner/bumper mod which is easy.

    Looks to be the ticket, thank you. So are the spacers 1", giving you 2" of lift in essence, or are the spacers 1/2", giving 1" of lift?

    I'll be interested in your before and after, please be sure to post the results!

    bridgestone revo 3 5100's @2.5/1.5. Stock springs & rear daystar 1.5" spacers
    Just an FYI.

    I went with bilsteins all around and had the front leveled at .85. I then decided to move it to 2.5 and put a 1.5 inch daystar spacer in the rear. It rides exactly the same as it did at .85

    Still running 265's in a revo 3 AT tire

    Will move to 275's when its time to swap out the tires again.
