Since there isn't already a Florida section here, I guess I'll start it off.
Anyone one else on here from Florida.

I got a 94 4runner that looks like it went to hell and back.
Going to be starting to revive the dayum thing.

Hey Nick! How is your Transmission doing?
Thanks for starting this thread. I'm East Central FL on Merritt Island. The 94' T4R is what made me a fan. My buddy had one and I showed him how to drive it.
I finally stepped up...2 decades later. These things are fun right off the lot!
Surprised what my 5th gen will do with these street tires on it. Mods are being planned though.
I hope your build goes well!!

Melbourne here - slow build but trails as soon as some of the maint items are done - when lifted my CV's finally let go - will be doing them next paycheck and then need some spacers and tires, or rims and tires if I score a good deal. Fairly capable with the ATRAC and crappy 265/65 street tires...

    F34519A4-B0B4-4D09-B1F4-E91356F4256B_zps_50a02a3eeddeb485043aef1dac475448abcdde27.jpg

Just after the lift - need to get more action shots - with the hurricane, a cert test I had last Wednesday and re-starting my masters courses this week, haven't had much play time, not to mention both my CV's are shot as mentioned above. Trails probably fairly consistent after the new year, hardrock several times a year I hope at minimum:)

Anyone here ever ride out to Richloam/Green Swamp wma!? Looks like some fun, yet relaxed water crossings. Mostly sandy, hard surface under the water but there are some surprise holes. Would feel much more comfortable with doing a group ride since I am still without a winch!

23 posts in 4 years? It's a veritable hot bed of activity! Lol whats ironic is I've never seen this pic, but the PO of my V8 is post #8 and that was 3 years ago.
Check out Florida 4runners If you guys haven't already. 2000 strong over there. I guess everyone is already on fb so it gets all the play.

    Is this anyone from here?

    Screenshot_2020-01-12-10-45-51.jpg

I'm heading down to the Lee County area in a few weeks, and I'm thinking about checking out Yucca Penns and possibly Babcock/Webb. I'll be visiting family, but I hope to do some mild off-roading while I'm down there.

I'm curious if anyone here has any experience with these places, and any tips or warnings. I'm in a stock off-road with KO2's

If anyone wants to join me between January 27th and February 7th, let me know. I'm not sure I'll make any concrete plans. I'll probably just go on a day that's windy or cold when I don't feel like fishing.

Also, if there's any events going on down there around that time, I might be interested.

    Thanks for any help!

Hello Happy Sunday from Florida. I live about 4 hrs from Lee county and don't have any experience with those WMAs, but I do recognize the name in your attachment. Try joining up with these guys: Florida 4runners I know there are some members in SW Florida. Mods name is Anthony and just let him know what's up. Lazy Springs off road park is a privately owned facility down there you might want to check out: http://www.lazysprings.com/
Have Fun and don't swim without a snorkel, some of these puddles down here can be deep lol. Good Luck with the Fishing too!

@Thatbassguy I don't blame you. Sooo much crap on there these days. I haven't done the gram or twitter thing, but I think social media might just be our undoing. I stay off the main feeds and just do the offroad face book groups anyway.
