I'm still mad at Vin Diesel and Paul Walker for making them so damn expensive!

Nice ride. With respect, the Supra is one of the first supercars!
Next to a '64 Cobra 427. This is the car that got me into vehicles! Also, the Niggan GT-R R34 Skyline from Japan!

Around 28k new that’s bang for the buck...took me five years to pay the loan off. My credit is impeccable. I just contacted Toyota about a new TRD Pro....

It’s fun to play with, I built it I have four different shifters. Around 80,000 miles, 4,000 on the rebuild. That Supra is just something to sit in the living room...

Not for me. I'd drive the shit out of it!

MKIV Supra was my ultimate dream car until fast and the furious came out and prices skyrocketed.

Honestly, if I ever buy another Supra, it will probably be a MKIII. I don't need 1000+ horsepower, and I really love cars from the late 80's for some reason. The 3rd gens came with a 1jz in other markets, so it's a plug and play swap. Those motors are plenty capable of making 700+ horsepower with bolt-ons and proper tuning.

Also remember that the 2jz-ge (just N/A with no turbo) also came in the Lexus sc300 from the mid 90's.
That was before the honda (no offense) fart can times came... (coughs... F&F franchise).

Anyway if you have the cash
Cars after 25yr build date can be imported & driven. Very soon R34 Skylines will be here!!

My love of cars started as such.
    1. 1964 Cobra 427. Was given a 1/18 scale metal die cast model as a child & fell in love.
    I still have it!
    2. Porsche 911 I read about in a road & track going on family trip.
    3, 4 & 5. Were the in high school.
R34 skyline only available in Japan
    '90's turbo Supra
& last but not least... the 90's NSX.
In no order. That is just the main highlights of my car experience.
I also saw car & driver "testing" the 1994 Impala SS in Phoenix while I lived there. The cars looked very unique so as kids. We asked them what they were & they told us what they were doing! That is a cruiser though...
Our neighbors in Phoenix had a Viper I could see. It was a first gen. Gorgeous but kinda odd. The new ones... beautiful beasts!

And, the 1jz-gtte came in the Soarer, which was the non-US version of the SC300. And, pre-OBD-2 vehicles are exempt from emissions in Wisconsin, so you can pretty much do whatever you want with them.:)

    :yay::headbang::devil:
    Then let's do this!
S/E Wisconsin... This may be difficult.
Could you imagine a 600hp sc300 that just took pinks every weekend.
I bet they exist. Probably in Japan.
    Now I miss my Supra...

The Celica Supra existed for no reason other than to delay the 1986.5 yr model.
I had an '87. It was not a Celica!

    Not even close after '85

The Celica/Supra ran from '79-'85. It was built on an elongated Celica chassis and came with the 5m, then the 5m-ge.

In 1986, the Celica went FWD and the Supra remained unchanged, aside from a third tail-light.

The 3rd gens came out as a 1986.5, and the turbos came in '87.

That's right! A Lotus Esprit (i think) was basically a hopped up MR2.
