We paid $39,500 for a 19 TRD off road premium 4X4 three months ago. The price they gave you sounds absurd for an SR5 2x4.

Yup, we had one dealership quote us the exact same ride that we bought except it did NOT have the predator tube steps, or the wilderness oackage, and it had bronze wheels which we hated, and they wanted $42,900 as their best price. 5 minutes away from them we got a more stuff and a way cheaper price. Definitely get written offers and pit the dealers against each other. With the 20’s arriving, they should be giving some good deals on the 19’s.

 

I walked out the door with a 2020 ORP for $40k flat (Oregon, so no sales tax). That's WAAAY too much for a 2x4 SR5P!

 

I landed a 2019 TRD ORP with msrp of 48000 for 39500 otd with xp predator pkg and a host of other options. Rice Toyota. Cox Toyota will gladly break it off in you both in sales and service, dumbest folks I have ever tried to deal with, even worse than Hendrick.

 

The XP package is overpriced--its like a 100% markup versus if you just bought those appearance items separately. If you like that look, you can get the wheels for $800 or less, and the pro grill knockoff for $150. I got my sr5 Premium 4WD last year for 37k drive off price, and probably could have done 1000 better if I had been patient.

 

But if you get the xp predator package for 1500.00 it’s a steal..
