    As I have discussed.
Our now T4R just hit the 5k mile mark.
I had the interval for maintenance of the wiper blades set for 5k miles. I assumed that is what the service was calling for.
As the wipers are still good I got into maintenance & gave them more time.
Now, none of my maintenance items are red but the LCD in the center of the main cluster says "maintenance required soon" or whatever it says.

    Long story.
    My question is this.
Is it the 5k mile check up that it just passed at the same time?
If so; I was planning on rotating the tires along with everything mentioned in my thread.
Can a Carista clear this or must a dealership see it to erase it?
There is no CEL if anyone is wondering. Only engine mod is TRD intake.
    Thanks again!

Trip button or the dispay button on the wheel?
I didn't think to hit the trip.
I thought it was a computer thing.
    Let me go check.
    Un segundo....
    Thanks.

IIRC... with key in ignition, set odometer to "trip a". While holding in the odometer button, turn the key to the "on" position...(do not start the vehicle). You will see a "countdown" reset happen on the trip odometer.

Also, if my instructions are slightly wrong, check your owners manual...it's in there.

    Nope,
The trip only switches between the odo, trip A & trip B.
Holding it down during start up did nothing.
    Here are current displays.

I will go check this now.
I did read the entire manual, but that was the week of purchase and I could have missed or forgotten it.
    Going to try now...
    Thanks.

You don’t start it. Just accessory for a few seconds? At least that’s how it is on my 14 Corolla Premium S with push button start...

If you are starting the vehicle you are doing it wrong. Turn the key to "on" but do not start the car.

Like you're trying to hear the radio but not start the car.

You were both close to correct.
    Brian had it.
    This is what cleared it.
Does this reminder go off every 5k or what can I expect?
Excellent timing & quality of help as always.
    Much appreciated!

Was this maintenance reminder on due to first 5k check up & tire rotation?
Just so I don't miss something.
Besides a recall the dealership service will never see this vehicle again.
They love to dent & scratch it (run a black vehicle through a touch carwash in winter with gravel and salt).
    Cannot fix stupid! Lol

Yep! Goes by the OM, not the dealers “suggested” schedule.

I'm going in tomorrow after work for the 10,000 mile service. I was going to go to "my guy" but caved and figured I'd just do the "free" mfg service. I figured the hell with it I already paid for it buried in the price. I mean how bad can they F up an oil change and tire rotation? Hmmm... We'll see. I may put a mark on one wheel/tire and see if I actually get it back rotated. ;)

Before you leave check the oil level. During my free service time they over filled the motor once.

Ours hasn't been in for service since new.
I will be doing our own oil changes.
    Good find! Thanks.

Not a bad idea. I have one funky valve core in a valve stem so I checked that. Plus, as dirty as my wheels were, it was easy to see that they did do a rotation. LOL! I will be changing out that core and marking the front valve stems with a Sharpe.

Can anyone tell me how to reset the service light on a 2015 t4r limited, no actual key to turn to accessory, just a fob?

It doesnt have a regular key, it has a button to push to start, you have to have the key (ignition) fob in your pocket. No key, no hole for a key.
Everything I have read requires a physical key.
