I cant believe the negativity of some reviewers on the 2019 4runmer , how they say it drives very harsh , theres no safety sense , no apple car play , and android auto lol ....i own one and let me tell you first and foremost this is a great machine very reliable we know that , also the fact it doesnt have any of those safety sense features makes me love it more lol i dont know about you guys, but i am very focused when i drive , thiers no complecency . Just the other day i witnessed 2 vehilces making a lane change at the same time lol yoi can see the light come on the side view mirrors , bit still this happened lmao no accident thoigh ....any how the 5 speed tranny who cares the 6,7 and 8 speed only beat by a couple of mpgs who cares lol anyhow sorry that im going on and on.

They hate us cause they ain't us!
They probably really love a Wrangler that have door hinges that rust after 6 months.
We bought our 2019 to get one before TSS get in there!
Drives harsh... these things are a sponge! Hence the nosedive issue.
Ours & the loaner SR5 we had for a few days just floated over even potholes. You want a harsh ride. Come ride in my leaf sprung F-250!

With the older jeeps, new ones don't count because of Fiat. They had a saying that it's a Jeep thing, you wouldn't understand.
Same holds true for the 4runner. They simply don't understand.
I've been through a lot of vehicles over the years and this one is just fun to drive. Take it out on a back road on an 80 degree day with all the windows down and perfection is made.

Everyone has different ideals with what a car should have. I came from a tundra so I’m use to the lack of features. I’ve also driven a dozen cars with all of those fancy features.

Some things are nice to have...
    Cooled seats
Auto climate control reduce when you answer a BT phone call

I never liked CarPlay in the rental cars I had

Things like heated steering wheel I never used

I love my 2019 runner. I don’t want the safety features the 2020 has.

    Oh, that windshield heater...
I cannot wait to see how well that works!
Why is that not in every car?
Plus, the rear window rolls down!

It's definitely not built for the masses. Luckily for us, there's a big enough market for Toyota to keep making it.

I love pretty much everything about mine!

You can have all the fancy tech in the world. But what does it matter if your vehicle is in the shop all the time. I’ll take reliability above all else. Those saying it rides rough may not understand this vehicle is built like a truck.

the windshield heater works great. it keeps the snow plowed by the wipers down and to the drivers side gone once it warms up..you wont be that guy stopping in a blizzard to clear the wipers off!!

I love the 4Runner because it doesn't have all that unneeded crap. When you drive a vehicle, the driving should take all of your attention. No ifs, ands or buts about it. Another example of the snowflake culture running amok. Love my T4R. I do enjoy the sirius radio, and that may be the only accessory that I really want to have.

Come ride in my lowered Shelby GT500. Firm would be an accurate word to use. Not horrible, but you sure do not want to drive through a pot hole.

I had a 4runner and bought a 2019 Tacoma then I left the Tacoma after 10 months because of the annoying tech gadgetry that was awful to say the least and the shitty brakes and drivetrain, traded back to a 4runner and am so happy to be back..peace and quiet ,solid vehicle with effortless drivetrain.

The Tacoma was one of my favorite vehicles but I do agree, I enjoy the 4runner much more.

Used to love the guys on the Raptor forum bitch 'bout the "nose dive". It was freakin' sprung and shocked long travel for off road ... fast off road. I like the ride of my 'Runner, and nose dive, I don't find to be an issue.

Now, my '71 Corolla and my '84 Supra, different story. But I made them that way. LOL!

I agree. I love how our T4R rides!
My '87 Supra with a 2/1" drop Eibach & tokico shocks (active suspension) drove like it was a roller coaster! Tons of grip. Same with handling!

I had an '85! 6MG Japanese engine, centerforce clutch, pacesetter header, magnaflow exhaust. Bought as automatic, converted to stick. I wish I had kept it! Such awesome car.
