Can't get enough 4-runner pictures and whatnot, and then I found this group. I have an '89 4-runner and a '97 4-runner. I don't do any off-roading, but I plan to fix up the 89 'not quite stock' but close.

I'll post a pic when I can find it - may just have to take some.

For now, I'm going back to looking at all your rigs.

Stop looking at my junk. You can't look at my junk until you post some pics.

I just recently bought the 97 and so far I haven't done anything to it yet. Most of what it needs is not visible anyway - all the running gear rubber, shocks, u-joints, etc. - are pretty loose and sloppy. Kinda scary to drive over 50 mph.
The '89 also has been getting all the invisible parts fixed or repaired, because it is my daily driver. It has over 240k miles on it, and I've driven all but the first 70k. Somebody in its early life redid all the inside, and if it was their first attempt I'd say it was a pretty decent job. If it was professional, I'd say he shoulda got his money back.

Today is starting to look like Picture Day. Still finding my way around on this site, what with all the cool distractions...

Wow, post #6, a year and a half later. My excuse: too many 4r forums, can't tear myself away from the dang computer. Inherently lazy peeps should not own a computer!
