I have a White 2014 Trail Premium and I want to swap the grey bumper pieces on the front and back for the TRD black pieces, but I don't know if they swap clean or if I have to do any work to fit them, has anyone else done it?

Did it this past weekend. Pull the bumpers, pull the clips, replace trim, and reinstall everything. Simple job.

So you replaced the Logo Piece and the lower Valance piece clean? If you have any pictures could you send them?

Haha I fail at reading. Badges are easy.

I think some of the clips are hard to reach with the bumper on.

I swapped out the silver pieces front and rear for the black pieces. Pulled both front and rear bumper covers, took less then an hour to do both. Clips can be reused.

Do you mean logo as in blacking out Toyota badge or replacing with pro grill? I replaced with the pro grill. I can post some pics later today.

I mean replacing with the pro upper and lower grille/bumper pieces.

Like swapping these two pieces in particular:Used-2014-Toyota-4Runner-Trail-Premium.jpgcc15e4d1e881265c8deb0963ba1a3286.png

It is an easy swap to make. What is your question specifically?

Yea it's really easy. Tons of install videos online as well. Think the grill/garnish even comes with instructions if I remember correctly.

I didn't do this but know the front is super easy, had my bumper off over the weekend.
I haven't looked but heard the rear bumper is a pita

Rear bumper is easy too. The plastic clips for the mudflaps were the hard part for me. They were gummed up, didn't wanna budge.

Wow thanks! Somewhere in one of the forums someone said the rear was awful hard to get off so I never bothered looking into it. Gonna order black valance covers soon! any suggestions is anywhere cheaper than another for OEM? thanks

I wish I had a specific place to recommend. About a year ago I searched on eBay daily until I found a decent price with free shipping. They're expensive but worth it for OEM.

Bunch of Toyota dealerships selling them on Ebay with free shipping. That is where I purchased mine.

That looks way better, I can't stand that silver color lower valance on the lower models.

That’s exactly how I feel, I think the Gray doesn’t look bad but the black looks much nicer even if you don’t get the upper valance in black too.
