So, I have been lurking, BUT decided to make an account on here on 4runners.com I believe I like this site layout than the other guy. Cough T4R Cough.

Anyway, I traded in a 2014 super white platinum Tundra crewmax a couple of weeks ago and came home with a new to me 2014 Blizzard Pearl 4Runner Limited.

I am not new to toyotas, but I am new to 4Runners. My past experience with Toyotas come from a 94 MKIV supra that I full built from stock to a built big single and auto to manual trans.
Next on my Toyota list was a 2009 Tacoma that I started with and ended up 37's and 6". Yes it was pretty much a mall crawler, but whatever.
Next was a 2012 Tundra crewmax RockWarrior. I ended up smacking a column in a parking garage and it got totaled out. I then picked up a 2014 Tundra Super White platinum crewmax. I loved everything about that truck. I hardly ever used the bed though.

My wife was looking around at SUV's at my stepfather and mother's place of work one day and had me look online at a SUV she was looking at. While looking on their site, I noticed this 4Runner that had been on there for a while. I had the wild hair of talking to my stepfather about trading my Tundra for it and lowering my vehicle payments and insurance. BINGO..it would do just that, and still fit my needs for what I used the truck for. Awesome.

I used the truck to haul music gear to and from gigs once in a while (in the cab of the truck), and also to pull a fishing boat now and then.

Here is my new to me 4Runner. I love everything about it. I still have all the comforts I had in the platinum tundra. The only dislikes are the previous owner has 20" wheels on it (want to trade them or eventually sell for some 17's).Until then they will do, because they are all like new and 33" Falken Wildpeak AT3W's all look new also. The previous owner also had a flat black vinyl wrap on part of the hood and front. I hated the look of it, but got to thinking its probably doing a good job of protecting from chips and whatnot. Who knows what is underneath that wrap?? I decided to leave it for the past 3 weeks.

I got the wild hair yesterday and peeled the wrap off while it was HOT outside. Came off easily and I like the look much better without it. There are a few chips and nicks under it, but nothing I can hit with some touch up and call it good.

The vehicle otherwise has Proline Elite front and rear bumpers (rear with swingout spare and jerry can setup), Warn Winch, Toytec Boss suspension with the heavy coils front and back. ARB safari snorkel, NFAB nerf bars (plan to replace rockers and bars with sliders), and NFAB roof rack. Oh and a few little offroad lights.

Im loving the vehicle so far and cant wait to change it to fit my needs.

Thanks, that is what I have read. Just not crazy on the wheel size or style of them.

I have a clunk I "THINK" is coming from the front passenger side. I thought it was were the PO left the XREAS lines on the vehicle and they were clanging around since they no longer were tightened to anything, but I took those out, but still there. Next I guess I need to go and start tightening up bolts from the suspension / bumpers etc.
