If possible, try taking the same picture when you get your OEM headlights back in. Curious to see the difference.

Do you have the Morimoto fog lights?
Just wondering if they made them to work together...
    I love the look!

Oh, over in another forum the guy who's runner is in the video has the same problem but thought his may have been due to his aftermarket bumper. He pulled his out and is back running hid

Yes the fogs fill in for that dead zone but I don't want to drive with the fogs on all the time.
I love the look, they are blacked out in the day time and look awesome. As mentioned I drove into a couple turns tonight blindly. Be sad if some dumb kid was standing there or running out from behind something

Okay, so we run our fogs 100% of the time.
Would you consider them safe if used with the fogs 100% of the time?

How does the DOT not govern light output and visibility.

Do the new products have the DOT mark?
    Thanks all!

    That is a start.
Is it an aiming issue or, do you have diodes out?
Hate to ask, was the install p&p? A wiring mistake can cause troubles.
Just trying to brainstorm as I want these also! Lol

Dot label is on the box, in tr4.org Xenon and some other guy got into it and Xenon admitted they are not dot approved but met the standards

I aimed them like ocd. Used tape, laser level at 25' etc. install is fine, need to Dremel a hole in the fuse block, not stated in directions. No way to mis wire as the plugs match the oem. I wished they were fine. Look up user DotTom at tr4.org. he posted a picture Friday that shows the same thing and his were installed by Xenon depot

    That is a monkey wrench...
Is the light housing itself stamped with the DOT marker?
That would make these "illegal for street use & for demonstration purposes only"
I cannot drive with illegal driving lights!
Too old to fight that shit.
Why are they not DOT certified?
    Thanks.

That's pretty much the same low beam pattern as my OEM headlights, albeit much brighter. I also have dead spots when cornering if I don't run my fogs.

The box has a label dot approved, headlights do not. Here's a link to XD post saying they are not dot but could be Read couple pages past that post and dottom the guy with the runner In the video has the same problem, he ripped his out and they were free. I really wished they worked and wished I was.not a test mule, they should have stated we were test mules. That was deceiving on Xenons part. It explains why that made 50 and are waiting to make the rest.
If they fix this I'll buy another pair
Xenon also said In his post these are prototypes

Unacceptable for the product & price point.
It should be 100% built now.
    Charging the customer for R&D....
I may need to email them directly!
Also, why buy their fogs if they come broken.
This seems not to be a quality product.
Is there any way to call them out?
I have no social media and only this. Yes, I am under 40. Facebook sucks!
The housing & idea is awesome. Something isn't right!
    Thanks.

I think the quality is excellent, looks, design, wiring is simple as it gets. in my opinion it lacks an led that perhaps they could add to fill in that area. The fogs are great with these headlights. I didn't like then with the hid because coloring was off, they will be forsake shortly
Not sure, I emailed asking for RMA and explained why

Gonna make install a priority tomorrow so I can test them out. I ran LEDs in my Tacoma so I'm familiar with their faults vs alternatives. I have Baja Designs Squadron Sports for fog lights as back up. But, if the XBs are that bad I need to know sooner than later.

Still, @ that price point they will be around.
I may wait till they get the aim dialed in.
The XB forgs are a guarantee asap! Nothing looks close. The Toyota led lights are a joke.
Let us hope for generation 2.0!

Interested how the install went and if your light is cut off in corners?

Got mine installed. Took a drive for an hour through town, highway, and back roads. I need to adjust them more before I make my mind up. Definitely notice the void on both sides like @ForRun 's pictures. Fog lights fix that issue. Although I wasn't flashed while running both, mine aren't exactly street legal.

Just not sure about them yet.

I didn't expect the corners to have such a sharp cut off. Didn't really notice it around town. But in the country it is sketchy without fog lights.

Did Xeno Depot ever get back to you?

No, when I submitted for an RMA they said it may take a couple days, it is a weekend and not sure if they are working. Yeah I know the fogs can fix it but being old school I only use them when weather requires it. personally I think everyone that runs fogs when not needed is for ego or just dumb not knowing they are on.
Its looking like Morimotos computer design failed and the test guy didn't know as he's got a big ole bumper! One would think they would have tested on there own before sticking 50 people with them

I submitted an RMA as well. I'm not a lighting expert but these are sketchy IMO. Really cool form but unfortunately not on the most important function.

I'll probably get a custom set from Lightwerkz or Kustom54 in the future. Something simple, blacked out housing and upgraded projector.

Exactly why I could never justify something like this. If I'm spending that ridiculous amount of money, I better be able to see into the future with the brights on! Otherwise, it's just an aesthetic upgrade and not worth a penny to me.
