Running the standard boost, probably not.

If you're going to change pulleys, and add more boost: probably injectors, fuel pump, fuel management, etc

Go over to YouTube and watch the “banks Power” channel with gale banks. Lots to learn from this guy, “boost” numbers really don’t mean anything.

I'm going to put this to bed once and for all. Please anyone looking to modify their vehicle regardless if it's a supercharger, wheels, tires, lifts, tint, or anything else, refer to the Magnuson-Moss Act. It is a federal law that's been around for decades. It states it is on the dealership to prove your modification caused failure of the part you are attempting to seek warranty. If you install a supercharger and your wheel bearings fail, or your AC blower motor fails, or any other component of the vehicle they are required by law to honor what ever warranty was agreed upon by the dealership and buyer at purchase. The ONLY way they can get out of paying out for warranty is if they can prove your aftermarket part or installation of OEM parts by a non approved party directly caused the problem. For this example if this supercharger directly caused a rod to snap, or a valve to fail, the dealership must prove it was the supercharger. Only then can they tell you to kick rocks.

Thank you for posting this! The dealerships probably know that most people aren't aware of that. They will try to get out of warranty work whenever possible, and I'm sure they get away with it the majority of the time.

So here it goes. Picked up my car yesterday. Initial impressions, it’s a fantastic upgrade. The blower whine is very minimal but the car shines on the highway and now has the needed power to get up and moving. I don’t have a dyno sheet for the car prior to the blower being installed unfortunately but believe stock the car would put down 200 hp. I’m running 285’s with a lift, rack, drawers, and snorkel. Factory air intake and factory exhaust. Car dynod pretty decent numbers in 100 degree weather. Is there room for more power safely? I think so. My friend who has a similar setup had Magnuson do a custom tune and I know for a fact his car makes more power than mine. His blower screams in comparison to mine. I’ll be making a trip to Ventura to see the Magnuson people to see what they can do. Overall very happy.

About $7k. For those with front bumpers, winches, and air systems, there is apparently a lot of plumbing that needs to be routed in the engine bay and the more gear you have onboard the more difficult the install as I’m told. We needed to customize some brackets to make things work. Otherwise fairly straightforward.

That's awesome man, congrats! I wonder if a re-gear would do you better since you are running bigger tires??? Look forward to more of the review.

If I ever run larger than 33s a regear would be the next mod for sure. It drives great right now.

The tune needs to be adjusted by Magnuson in my opinion. My friend had Magnuson retune his car after install and his performs much much nicer than mine. Will keep everyone in the loop. If anyone ever wants to check it out before they move forward with the kit, let me know. Happy to meet up for show and tell.

TRD intake, yes. Exhaust not so much. All my other cars are loud. This is a family hauler so i'd like to keep it as quiet as possible.

that's what i think too. motor needs more fuel to make the power it "should" be making.
