Sometimes I need to leave some pretty pricy assets in my unattended vehicle. I've looked through the forums and haven't found anything specific on this particular brand. Does anyone have one of the Lock'er Down products? Which lock did you select? Did it install easily?

I've just upgraded to a 2019 TRD Off Road Premium. Drove my 2016 for 19 years.

    Thanks.

Yes, I have the key lock. Would probably get the keypad if I did it again. Installs with three 10mm bolts. Toyota has one also.

JCoon - since you said you'd be following, I just pulled the trigger on the standard Lock'er Down unit with the digital combo lock. It's $150 more but like the guy I spoke with said, he's at the age when he didn't want to have to put his glasses on to open the console. He said that they sell more of the electronic lock than any other.

I mentioned that I was trying to find a coupon code for them. He said that they didn't have an active one right now. And then - he coughed one up saving me 10%.

I have one for my tundra. They weren't offering one with digital locks when I got mine.

Is that the Exxtreme Console Safe or the standard one? Are you pleased with it? How hard was the installation?

The standard one and simple install. Yeah, it's great. It might not keep out a thief prepared to pry a safe open, but it would certainly slow him down. It would probably keep your items from getting stolen by common thieves. I'd buy it again

I don't buy any safe with electronic locks though. They are nice, but I want to be able to get in it, anytime and no matter what.
