So far this seems to be working! I bought these to keep the deer away from my hostas and plants. By this time, they would be half-eaten. Hopefully, they'll get through summer in tact. I won't know about the durability of the items until much later, but think they should be usable for another season, at least. I wish I bought larger units, because the hostas are very large and have outgrown them!

I saw one of the Nuvue pest guards in a neighbor's yard and decided to give it a try since everything else I have tried to keep deer from eating my plants have failed. This works! Simple to install (four stakes that hold the tent down) and easy to move or take up to trim plants. I have two in the front flower bed and they have been there for two weeks without any further problem from the deer. The only con is the price. The large size that I purchased costs about $30 each but when you consider that compared to netting or other solutions, this will last longer and can be reused over and over and when not needed it easily folds for storage.

Purchased this pair to protect two forsythia shrubs planted a few years ago but stunted from regular deer/groundhog browsing. Come fully assembled so spring open to place over plant. Four corner stakes easily secure with a small hammer. There is already new growth on my shrubs now that they are protected. I plan to leave these in place until the shrubs are much bigger. These guards will store flat when not needed. Very happy with these, and the price for the pair was much more reasonable than other options. There are larger as well as smaller sizes available.

These protectors are rabbit and chipmunk proof, the birds were not a problem. Last year my beets germinated fine and gradually all of them were eaten by the rabbits and chipmunks. When I saw these I had to try them, no assembly required, pop them open and stake them (stakes provided) they are working great. I will probably need a few more, because I know these will work for more than just beets. Post script, they are not rabbit proof, rabbits chewed through the plastic mesh so I used the metal ones I also bought to "patch" the holes. Pretty disappointed at this point.

They cost a bit but 100% worth it. Covered some of the items that bunnies used to devastate in our garden and noticed how our plants thrived. Easy to fold and store away in garage during winter. Only small complaint is their stabilizer sticks are made of cheap plastic - be gentle when putting them in ground or pulling out fast (especially in dried out soil) as they can break easily. Lost two of them already (out of the 4) because of this - still will not take away from fact that this is the best defense against garden pests.
